On this episode of Video Games 2 the MAX hosts Sean Garmer and Marc Morrison deal with a double whammy of announcement showcases. Blizzard had a lot of announcements on Day 1 of Blizzcon headlined by a Diablo IV introducing the Rogue class and the Diablo II Resurrected remaster. After that, the duo moves on to discussing the big and some small announcements from the Nintendo Direct. Sean is happy about Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s Pyra and Mythra being in Smash Bros Ultimate. While some surprises like Splatoon 3, Project Triangle Strategy and Stubbs The Zombie caught his eye too. The guys also discuss the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD and if there’s going to be more coming for Link this year. Plus, they wonder where the heck is the Metroid announcement.
Sean praises Microsoft’s FPS boost addition and their continued support of accessibility with their new guidelines and the release of the accessibility service too. Marc goes off about weird Tommy Tallarico's decisions involving the Intellivision Amico, which to no surprise got delayed again.

Alex is back after a very busy week of content. To help break everything down, he is joined by Matt Bosty! Matt had joined the podcast for episode two way back in the summer. The two break down the Ottawa Senators results, which included a 6-5 comeback victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. They also take a look at the Ryan Dzingel trade and what it means for the Sens.
The two get a little sidetracked and talk Sens past defencemen and also how important this next crop of prospects will be to the team. They then examine what they've seen out of the Sens goalies over the past couple of weeks and why it is much more encouraging going forward. Finally, they take a look at some listener questions which include what Ottawa might do a center going forward. Not just for this season, but the next three or four and where they see certain prospects slotting in.
What's up Internet? Last Word SC Radio is back. Dan and Matt get together to talk about MLS teams in the CCL draw, the MLS CBA getting sorted out, and more. We discuss the new U.S. Open Cup format that's making it more of a closed club. Also, are FC Cincinnati making moves to become a big club now?
In the Round Table, we discuss some player moves.

This week, the guys talk about the Habs continued struggles. A big week against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers left the guys, and the fans, frustrated. After storming out of the gates, the Habs have COOLED off. Everything seems to be a challenge for them at the moment, especially scoring goals. It's been two frustrating weeks for Habs fans who have to be wondering which version of the Habs is the one they should expect the rest of the way. What's to blame? Coaching? Players? The Bell Centre? The reverse retro's? The guys break it down.
They guys then talk about the struggles of Phillip Danault. The Habs center has been struggling this year. The guys wonder if Danault's contract situation is affecting his game. Whatever it is, Danault is hurting his value and the Habs on-ice product. With Tomas Tatar being scratched, the guys wonder if Danault should have been the one to sit.
All this and Victor Mete talk, is Carey Price still the best in the league, other teams the guys watch, TV shows to watch during the week off and much much more!

Alex and Chace are back with a busy week of hockey to discuss. The Columbus Blue Jackets found themselves in the news a couple of times for very different reasons. Alex and Chace discuss whether or not John Tortorella is a good coach, as well as looking back on the Mikko Koivu retirement. Was it anything Columbus did or just someone being honest? Next, they look at the Toronto Maple Leafs recent play and debate whether it's sustainable. Alex also asks if it is a good thing to be winning games in "different ways" or if it's something Toronto may want to focus on.
Finally, The Atheltic's Jesse Marshall joins the guys to discuss the Pittsburgh Penguins. Discussing the hires they made this season and what his opinion on them are. As well as a conversation about where this team goes next and can they win with this core. Find all of that and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast!
In this episode of the Necessary Roughness Podcast, host Nikolas Donadic dives into Super Bowl LV. He also touches on the continued implosion of the Houston Texans and Houston sports scene as a whole, stands by his previously proposed blockbuster 3-team Deshaun Watson trade, and discusses why context is important for setting expectations and for analyzing players (even if it’s often overlooked). On this episode of Video Games 2 the MAX hosts Sean Garmer and Marc Morrison are joined by Randy Isbelle in discussing two games he’s been reviewing. First is Randy’s thoughts on Bloober Team’s The Medium. He discusses what he likes from the gameplay, setting, and how the dual world aspect doesn’t hit as great as intended. Overall, he did find it enjoyable and liked the game. Randy has also started tinkering with Little Nightmares II on Xbox Series X and he talks about his thoughts so far on the game.
Alex is back after the Ottawa Senators had a very busy week with lots of storylines. Some massives downs followed by some encouraging ups. To break it all down, he is joined by Nate, who is the managing editor for the Silver Seven Sens. The two take a look at different storylines surrounding the Senators. These include the play of Tim Stutzle and whether or not his poor numbers should be a concern. As well, they examine the Ottawa Senators goaltending and what the ride has been like with Matt Murray. As well as giving their opinions on what should be done about Marcus Hogberg going forward. Give him more time or let someone else have a shot?
Finally, they also discuss who has looked good on the blueline so far and which players might be forcing their way into the lineup going forward. They also discuss the Logan Brown situation and if it is a good or bad idea to send him back to the AHL for a week or two.
Alex and Chace are back and are hopping on the trend of 2022 Olympic hockey roster projections. With the 2022 Olympic games just under a year away, the guys take a look at what possible rosters may look like. They take a look at Canada, USA, Sweden, Russia, and Finland's rosters. Dissecting each position group and exactly what to expect from each team.
Chace also gives his reasoning and explains his surprise about constant narratives when it comes to Canada vs the States and their rosters. While Alex realizes last second he forgot a pair of Russian wingers that makes the team look very different. As well, Alex asks if this might be the best Russian defence core they have brought in years? Overall, they look at possible longshots for teams and what each country will need to have a shot at gold a year from now. Tune in for all of that and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast!

This week, the guys talk about the Habs interesting week. Two convincing win over the Vancouver Canucks was followed by two frustrating games against the Ottawa Senators. While the Habs did take six out of eight points, their struggles against the Sens left our hosts a bit furstrated.
The topic of headshots came up again after Jake Evans suffered a hit to the head from the Senators Erik Gudbranson. That is three headshots to Habs players that have gone unpunnished from the Department of Player Safety. The guys wonder what it is going to take for the league to take the issue seriously.
All this and Victor Mete talk, Cole Caufield, Super Bowl snacks, Super Bowl picks and much much more.
