Alex is back with another busy week of content to recap! Looking at the latest trends and results with the Ottawa Senators. Joining him is TSN 1200's, Chris Stevenson! The two highlight each game this past week, which featured some very strong performances and some other not-so-strong ones too. From there, they discuss the Ottawa Senators defence core at length. Including what they've seen in Thomas Chabot, Erik Brannstrom and more so far. As well, Chris and Alex discuss why they feel the Sens should target some defencemen this free agency too. Prospects are never a sure thing.
From there, they take a look at goaltending and how they would split the starts up. As well as who they would protect in the expansion draft at this point in time. With that looming, questions will need to be asked eventually. Tune in for all of that and more, with the Last Word on Sens Podcast!
The guys are back with another week of content from around the NHL. Today, they start by taking a look at the Chicago Blackhawks and Brent Seabrook announcing he is officially done playing hockey. Alex makes the argument as to why this is legit, and not just an LTIR ploy. From there, they switch to the Tom Wilson suspension and discuss why the guys were both pleasantly surprised but also wanted more. The term was more than expected. However, they ask how many times does this need to happen? Additionally, they ask the question about if the NHL should switch to IIHF rules?
After, they examine the Calgary Flames firing their head coach and hiring Darryl Sutter back into the mix. Explaining why it was the right decision for the firing, but did they hire the right guy? Finally, Alex and Chace list off their top regression candidates. Three teams most likely to improve and three that they think will fall as the season goes on.

It was an interesting week for the Habs. On the ice, they ended their five-game losing streak and took five of a possible six points. Off the ice, the team made the move to fire goaltending coach Stephane Waite. The move itself was not the issue, but the timing, after a win over the Ottawa Senators and in a game Carey Price looked his normal self. The move led to a lot of media and fan speculation about the actual firing and who was pushing for it. The guys discuss how the move was handled and press conference explaining the move. Johannes definitely has some thoughts.
Still, on the ice, the Habs seemed to turn back the clock to January. It was refreshing to see some lineup changes that seemed to spark the Habs dormant offense. Hopefully, the Habs can continue their momentum on their dreaded west coast trip coming up.
All this and parade planning, overtime strategy, Montreal media, and much, much more!

On this episode of Video Games 2 the MAX hosts Sean Garmer and Marc Morrison discuss the information coming from Bloomberg concerning a possible Nintendo Switch Pro. This states that the updated console would include a 7-inch 720p OLED display and the ability to play in up-rezzed 4K on televisions. While there are a lot of inferences to other upgrades as well, nothing is explicitly stated either. Sean and Marc wonder what those could be if the Pro will just be a simple upgrade or mean much for the portable hybrid?
Alex and Chace return with another week of breaking down the latest to happen around the NHL. They start by taking a look at the Montreal Canadiens firing Claude Julien. The two discuss whether or not it was the correct call, as well as what might be done to help fix this team. As well, is it Julien's fault his teams shoot at a low percentage or is external factors?
Then, they take a look at the Buffalo Sabres and their struggles. Discussing Jack Eichel, Taylor Hall, and more. Also, looking at what the future of the team holds and is there any chance they can turn it around quickly? Or would the best course of option be to tear it all down again? They also discuss what happens with Jack Eichel if it is the latter, and why drafting is such a crucial part of team success. The guys also quickly discuss Artemi Panarin and his leave of absence, and more so why there is no truly good outcome, but a less-bad one in the whole scenario.
Alex is back with a lot to talk about per usual. This week, he has Beata from SilverSevenSens joining him! The two take a look at a number of topics including the Sens Sickos and their results against the Montreal Canadiens. The results of which directly led to a Montreal Canadiens coaching change. Alex has his thoughts on why it may not change too much overall.
From there, they take a look at the two games against the Calgary Flames, one being a blowout in Ottawa's favour and the other one not so much. Discussing who they have liked and disliked, including Drake Batherson and his hot streak. They also discuss why sitting Erik Brannstrom makes no sense, especially when the alternative is Brayden Coburn. Finally, they take a look at some comments from former Senator Anthony Duclair and discuss what is wrong with the organization fundamentally that these had to come out. Talking about the importance of change, why it seems to be happening but way too slowly.

This week, the guys catch up on the latest Habs news after being off for a week. The Habs have been in complete disarray the last 10 games. So much so that it cost head coach Claude Julien and associate coach Kirk Muller their jobs. While nobody is wishing anyone ill, it seemed overdue for a change in the Habs dressing room. Too many consistent issues that plagued the Canadiens through multiple seasons could no longer be ignored.
Now it's up to interim coach, Dominique Ducharme, to right the ship. In his first two games, there were some troubling signs. Still, it is such a unique season, is it even possible to judge Ducharme or what he wants to do when there is limited practice time. The guys will impart their wisdom to see if they can help the new head coach navigate this difficult situation. One thing is for sure, Ducharme will need some of the Habs best players to find their form, otherwise, it might be a long season. If the Habs continue to spiral, one thing is for sure, Marc Bergevin's seat will become incredibly hot.
All this and the Habs current skid, what is going on with Philip Danault and Carey Price, language issues, late-night not well thought through conspiracy theories, and much much more!

After, they take a look at who the best player Sidney Crosby could realistically be traded for. Also, take a look at if it's sustainable for each team and what needs to keep happening or change.
