Sometimes magical things can happen when beautiful photographs are shared between two souls.

Patty Hearst, granddaughter of the publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst, was kidnapped in 1974 and after being found alive, a year and a half later, ended up being sentenced to thirty-five years in prison for bank robbery. Her suitcase found in an old Greyhound bus station fifty years later unearthed this poem.

Death will come and visit all of us at some point in our lives. He will come and take us from the land of the living … it’s what he does. But don’t fear him, for he comes as a friend and he will take some time getting to know you and making you comfortable before he tucks you in for your eternal sleep.

Sometimes you need to escape from the world and all it’s craziness and head into the kitchen and make some banana bread to soothe your soul.

Two poems in tonight’s episode. “The Nun” & “The Nun (Part2)”. The Nun in silent reverence stands apart from the earth bound beings around her. With a whispered prayer and a beating heart she trades earthly ties for skies above. A life of devotion and a testament to boundless love.

For my sister Catherine, a kindred spirit and guiding light. Together we weathered life’s storms, and in each other, found solace. Your unwavering faith in me, your love for my art and words, will forever be your legacy in my heart. Your courage, my solace, your laughter, my joy. Your memory, my bittersweet solace. Forever missed, forever cherished.

A beautiful kiss of eternity has brought joy to the vampire who fulfills the eternal dream of the undreamed.

A poem from my vampire poetry series entitled, “The Gift of Immortality.” When the vampire has found his true love, he takes her life to sustain his own and drinks her blood lovingly and gently. His final gift to her is immortality where they will finally be together forever.
