Two poems from my second book of poetry, ‘A Pilgrimage To My Soul’. Beside Our Tombstone / A Difficult Time.

I wrote this poem after feeling barraged with darkness in these crazy times we’re living through right now and I was reminded by someone special that we must always stay in the light… Good advice. Just one poem this evening entitled “Blessed White Light”.

Two poems I wrote on September 13, 2025. I’m feeling very melancholy and despondent tonight and was feeling that way when I wrote these poems as well. Sometimes life can be shitty. ‘I’m Just a Whisper’ / ‘Life’s a Cage.’

I found a box of old poetry and writings in my storage unit a few weeks back, and this poem was amongst them. I thought it was rather ironic that the poem is about putting a box away for a long time and the box I found had been packed away for decades. I hope you enjoy this poem, untitled “Box of Darkness.”
