In this episode I give the latest news of the week and some of my thoughts therein. And then I bring back Sean Bingham to discuss his own podcast and get his thoughts on the NBA playoffs currently, his journey as an entrepreneur and how it went from a sunglasses company with his brother all the way to one of the best segments on Shark Tank that some of the producers had ever seen and to currently where he is about to launch his own travel app. Sean is not only fascinating, but he's entertaining, easy to talk to and a great example of hard work and diligence. His experience on Shark Tank was particularly fun to talk about and his thoughts on if Trump is going to run again is a particularly fun surprise. And then I close out the episode on my own thoughts of why people get mad at the idea of sending thoughts and prayers over social media when a tragedy occurs as well as some tid bits from President Nelson's last devotional to the YSA. On today's episode I talk about the relative perception of miracles. I wanted to address President Nelson's encouragement to members of the church to "seek and expect miracles" and what that may mean to us. And then I bring back Josh and Taylor Cutler who were on EP 79 back in December, 2021 talking about the supreme court's decision to re-evaluate Roe v. Wade and the reason behind that. Well, fast forward to today and we wanted to rehash some of that discussion because of how relevant that is now and the extreme likelihood (due to the leak) that it will be overturned in the next month and a half. Josh and Taylor bring a great legal perspective and we talk about why it was a bad decision, the role of the supreme court in general and how this isn't as much a win for pro-lifers as it is for freedom in general. In this episode I go over the week's news and then bring on Dr. Mike Hansen who is practicing medicine out in Las Vegas. Mike brings an interesting perspective to the health industry as a former physique competitor as well as medical doctor. He shares some interesting tid bits in terms of diagnosing a trans patience and the complications therein. He also gives health tips and other fitness tips. I close this episode by giving my review of the first two episodes of Under the Banner of Heaven. Enjoy!

In this episode I try out a new format where I go over some relevant news from the week: Elon Musk buys twitter, Zach Wilson is who we thought he was and Under the Banner of Heaven is coming out on FX/Hulu - should be interesting. And then I bring on an old roommate who helped me create the video that got me on MTVs Ridiculousness. We go over the concoction of the video and how it got on Ridiculousness and a few of our shenanigans during our Provo days. And then I close it out talking about my favorite scene from The Chosen and why it resonated with me so much. Enjoy!

In this episode I get into the hot topic of why people are calling Young Men's General Presidency Second Counselor, Brad Wilcox racist. I take about 10 minutes to cover my own thoughts and then I bring in recurring guest Ari Worthen to help me go through it and discuss what the real issues are and whether or not Brother Wilcox is actually a racist...spoiler alert, we don't think he is. In this episode I'm joined by a friend from my freshman year who was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer three years ago while a husband and father of three boys with one more on the way. Jake goes into the details of his diagnosis and what it has been like to process the emotions behind the diagnosis with the love and support from his wife and now four boys. Enjoy!

BYU football could not have set it up any better when it comes to the ways in which they've disappointed us considering their total letdown in the Independence Bowl against University of Alabama-Birmingham, on Chase's birthday no less.
