A member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and a South Dakota resident, Fabiana was introduced to soccer at a young age in Vermillion, SD. She immediately fell in love with the sport and she has described herself as “In it for life”. Fabiana continued on through high school and college, and the game took her internationally where she saw and was inspired by how soccer is approached in other countries. This led her to develop Community Soccer, a program that focuses on creating more mentorship within soccer, and a focus on community and fun before competition.

Fabiana has her US Soccer Federation B Coaching License, and US Soccer Grade 8 Referee Certification. She has extensive coaching experience in all age groups. Fabiana played professionally in the WPSL and the USL W-League and spent two Summers as a staff coach for the Disney Soccer Academy in Orlando, FL. Her work with Community Soccer is strengthening community, a love for the sport, and creating a safe place for kids to come and experience the joy of the sport.

Rebecca Stucke is an instructor and the owner of The Yoga Studio, Rapid City’s oldest yoga studio which just celebrated its 21st year in business. Rebecca fulfilled a years’ long dream of owning the Yoga Studio and purchased it in January of 2020. 

Just months after purchasing the studio, she navigated her first year as a business owner during a global pandemic. One of her students' shares, “Rebecca made sure the Yoga Studio was an absolutely safe space to practice during very uncertain times. When we were not able to meet in person, she held zoom classes, ensuring we never had to lose our time on our yoga mats.”

She works at Lifeways full-time as the Adolescent Outpatient Counselor. When she isn’t working and teaching, she loves spending time with her husband Mark, their doggo Adho, and daughter Raleigh. Things she loves include food, nature, plants, and movement.

Jenell Alward, along with her husband David, is the owner and head artist of Swish ‘n Flick Entertainment: an entertainment provider for face painting, balloon arrangements, balloon installations and more for every occasion. Jenell’s love for face painting sparked in her years in the theater department in high school, and she has taken this love and started a business that has grown exponentially over recent years.

Smiles for Miles is aimed at providing pro bono entertainment to help raise money for various causes and partnering with local businesses to create fun events that will bring more joy in a time when it is dearly needed.

Madison Reeves is a 20-year-old entrepreneur, up-and-coming author, and business owner. She is a full-time real estate agent in the Black Hills of South Dakota, focusing on helping buyers, sellers and investors build wealth through real estate. She is also a productivity coach for real estate agents. She shares with us her passion and her “why” that has taken her to a place of success at only 20.

Sara Jamison is an entrepreneur and owner of Terra Shepherd Boutique– a boutique in Sioux Falls South Dakota that focuses on slow and sustainable fashion.

We had the pleasure of having Anne Orban, a Marketing Professional, based out of Denver Colorado, join us as our latest guest. We sat down recently with Sarah Cooper, an Energy Healer and Spiritual Teacher located in Boise, Idaho, to discuss her work and business, Soulbirds Rise. She specializes in energetic healing, not only in humans but animals too. In this episode, she shares what life events changed her path from a bustling life in busy L.A. to finding her own healing and a new career in Boise.

She uses a variety of tools in her spiritual readings to help individuals tap into their energy, such as working with spirit guides, archangels, and reiki. Her motto is that “every person has the ability to heal themselves.” By helping individuals tap into their energy, she hopes to connect them with their own power to healing power within. Through her business SoulBirds Rise, Sarah works with clients and can even do sessions virtually. She works with animals as well, stating that animals often can take on their owners' energy, so balancing their energy can benefit their daily lives as well.

Missy shares with us her journey in musical theater, from small-town Louisiana to Chicago. “Once you have a ticket, you gotta stay in line,” states Missy, as she discusses the dedication to the audition process and what it takes to move up in the acting world.

In this episode, we sit down with Alexandra “Peedee” Hansen, owner, and operator of Blue Spruce Coffee Truck, a bustling coffee truck that serves the Spearfish South Dakota community and other communities around the Black Hills. Peedee discusses the joy she feels in serving and being a part of a community she cherishes, and what feels special about being a small business owner.

“Pourin' the love” is the Blue Spruce Coffee Truck slogan, and that is exactly what Peedee feels about owning her own business. After spending a few years in sales and marketing, Peedee realized she wanted to be her own boss and own her own business. She loved working in coffee shops in the past and realized it was something that brought her joy. After research and a trip to Kentucky to purchase a truck, Blue Spruce Coffee truck was born.

Peedee also has a love for art and does commission work when she isn’t on her coffee routes. She loves spending time with her husband and three dogs and is passionate about supporting small businesses all around the Black Hills.

In this episode, we sit down with Dana Christopherson and talk about hand lettering, illustration, and her role as a designer/art director at Target Creative. She shares with us her journey as a designer and what it was like going from a small art team at a museum to working at Target Creative.

Dana is a designer, letterer, and illustrator based in Minneapolis. Currently, she is a designer and art director at Target Creative where she has worked on projects such as gift cards, seasonal signage, artist partnerships and murals, and seasonal campaigns. On nights and weekends, you can catch Dana hand lettering, dreaming of painting murals, and starting too many projects that will eventually overwhelm her. Outside of the art + design world, you can find her paddleboarding (when it isn't -20 degrees out), eating popcorn, and snuggling with her cat, Kevin.

Dana also has a passion for non-profit work and currently has an Etsy shop featuring her illustration work, and all of the proceeds go directly to various organizations close to her heart.
