We’ve signed the papers and started moving into the new building! We’re extremely excited and on June 12, 2021 we want you to come celebrate at our ‘80’s Prom event! Come out, dress up, dance, see the new space and get a peek at our future plans! Information is up on our Facebook, the website and of course, in this episode! (Proceeds from this event will go toward renovations needed to open with a new season in the Fall.)

This week we’re all in the same room to talk to you about our upcoming LCT Summer Camps! This week we sat down with Jacie Hood and learned about the burgeoning and much needed field of intimacy direction and coordination!

It’s our first ever Volunteer Spotlight, in which we introduce you to the heart of Lubbock Community Theatre: our volunteer base. This week we welcome Jillian Jhonstone whose skills with costume and make-up light up Lubbock theatre!

Special Guest and long time friend of LCT Teddy Rodriguez returns to the show this week to fill us in on his acting efforts, including his current project, the short film "Hell No", currently making its way through the festival circuit!

This week we sit down with local visual artist, Will of the Winds board member and longtime friend to LCT KeAsia Bogus to talk about her art in the current exhibit at LHUCA and representation of people of color in theatre and culture in general moving forward.

By now you may have heard news about LCT’s big move to a new facility. In this episode we’ll go a little more in depth into why the move is happening, talk about our plans for the future and of course we’ll talk about how you can support us!

New episodes every Friday! Make sure you never miss by subscribing at Anchor, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Radio Public, Tune In or wherever you get your podcasts! If we aren’t on your favorite podcast platform let us know and we’ll get that fixed!

We’re still accepting acting and writing submissions for LCT Live-Ish Vol III and the best part is that you do not have to be in Lubbock to be involved! Jed and Heather are here to give you more details. Send submissions to [email protected] by midnight CST on Feb 7, 2021!
