This week Lubbock High School Theatre Teacher and longtime LCT fixture Zachery Kocurek-Gentry is here to talk about UIL Theatre as well as the UIL Intensive he’ll be leading in June as part of LCT’s 2021 Summer Camp session!

We’ve got another Volunteer Spotlight and this week we’re talking to Gatlin Aldridge who does....just about everything! Gatlin is integral to LCT’s day to day functioning and we’re appreciate him so much. Come on in and meet him!

We’ve signed the papers and started moving into the new building! We’re extremely excited and on June 12, 2021 we want you to come celebrate at our ‘80’s Prom event! Come out, dress up, dance, see the new space and get a peek at our future plans! Information is up on our Facebook, the website and of course, in this episode! (Proceeds from this event will go toward renovations needed to open with a new season in the Fall.)

This week we’re all in the same room to talk to you about our upcoming LCT Summer Camps! We have so much on offer this year from acting to prop making to makeup to production to filmmaking to our big Youth Artist Guild Musical Theatre Campe and so much more! Camps are happening from May into June so get your kids singed up now!

This week we sat down with Jacie Hood and learned about the burgeoning and much needed field of intimacy direction and coordination!

It’s our first ever Volunteer Spotlight, in which we introduce you to the heart of Lubbock Community Theatre: our volunteer base. This week we welcome Jillian Jhonstone whose skills with costume and make-up light up Lubbock theatre!

Special Guest and long time friend of LCT Teddy Rodriguez returns to the show this week to fill us in on his acting efforts, including his current project, the short film "Hell No", currently making its way through the festival circuit!

This week we sit down with local visual artist, Will of the Winds board member and longtime friend to LCT KeAsia Bogus to talk about her art in the current exhibit at LHUCA and representation of people of color in theatre and culture in general moving forward.
