LCT's 5 Til Places

It’s another Top 5 Episode! This week the gang tells us about their top 5 most memorable costumes.

That’s right, we’re in your feed early this week to tell you about LCT’s Throwdown In The LBK, an online talent show featuring performers and judges from locally owned Lubbock businesses! Watch it for free this Friday, September 18, 2020!

This week we talk with our friend Danielle DeLisle about the surprising intersection between theatre and tabletop role playing games.

August’s Top 5 is all about our favorite props, which leads to some fun stories and fond memories of shows gone by. Join us, won’t you?

The stage may be dark (for now!) but that doesn’t mean theatre isn’t happening! In this week’s episode we check in to make you aware of all the projects LCT has coming up this Fall including Talking To..., LCT Live-Ish Vol. 2, our youth production 15 Reasons Not To Be In A Play and our youth and adult learning workshops! Be sure to follow our social media to see how you can get involved!

Today we’re talking to local actor Robert Spencer who has taken his passion for acting from the stages of Lubbock to the national arena, in such projects as upcoming superhero drama The Embers as well as an appearance on Season 4 of Stranger Things! You can follow him on Facebook at Robert Spencer or on Instagram @ynezrobertspencer

Hub Theatre Group co-founder Dr. Bob Chanda and actor Briana Moody joined regular panelists Jed, Heather, Daniel and Beth this week to talk about Hub Theatre’s My Name Is Rachel Corrie (starring Ms. Moody and directed by Dr. Chanda). COVID-19 forced the production online which led Hub Theatre to creating their educational series Profiles In Activism! Profiles In Activism: Rachel Corrie streams live August 9, 10 & 11 at 6:30pm.n Tickets are free! Go to hubtheatregroup.org to reserve tickets.
