35 Tips to "Learn the Music of Your Heart" Day 7 of 31 Days of Lupus Awareness, Inspiration and Motivation taken from page 281of Fragrance After Rain by Dr. Jaiya John

Today's motivation discussion comes from page 187 of Fragrance After Rain by Dr. Jaiya John.  How do you slow down?  What tips do you use to become present?

This discussion comes from page page 93 of Fragrance After Rain by Dr. Jaiya John.

Sometimes a chronic illness diagnosis can unravel the edges of our tapestry of life.  How does that look?  What does it mean to reweave your life?

Sometimes healing can look like unlearning a lot of stuff that we have latched onto calling itself traditions, customs.  You are your greatest advocate for your own health.

Today's discussion is an encouragement to release attachment to the diagnosis.  You are so much more than the diagnosis.

Every lupus patient is different, and therefore every lupus patient's journey to health is going to look different.  That was something that I learned, and address in the discussion.

However, I do encourage to not get lost in the story of the diagnosis.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out on any of the platforms where I can be found.

To your health,

Today's episode was very interactive.  We discussed how healing can be "a wonderfully untidy personal art project," and how being joyful can bring healing into your body.  I also give several tips on how to inspire joy or create more joy in your life, no matter what is going on.

Pain should not be ignored.  It can actually become our teacher when we learn to listen to the messages that it is sending, and allow it to guide us on our journey to healing.

I will be doing 31 days of lupus awareness during the month of May.  The book that I am getting my inspiration from is Fragrance After Rain, by Dr. Jaiya John.  I strongly recommend getting the book.

Sometimes it feels that there are more flavors of pain than coffee.  However, I believe that pain gets a bad rap.  Pain is a messenger, and if we only listen and pay attention when it comes, we can utilize the message to propel us to our journey of healing.

I'm working with a book by Dr. Jaiya John entitled Fragrance After Rain.  Feel free to work along with me.  This episode's inspiration comes from page 221.

When was the last time you cheered yourself on? Or recognized your own achievements in life or at work?

On the flip side, I bet you can recall the last time you beat yourself up for a mistake or failure.

Chances are, you are your own biggest critic. However, in order to reach your potential, you must instead be your own biggest fan.

In this episode I give you a couple of ways to start to become your own biggest fan.

Ever heard the saying: "A goal without a plan is just a wish."  This episode follows from last week's so make sure to listen to that after you finish this episode or jump on it now before listening to this one.

Thanks for your support and may you be blessed by the content.
