Susan Goldsworthy, professor at IMD, Olympic finalist, award-winning writer, and executive coach, is our guest in this episode of ‘Leaders into the Wild’. Together we have an inspiring dialogue about the innate connection of humans with nature, which has gone into a 'napping known'. Yet we can awaken, for instance by immersing into Nature. Shifting our mindset from ‘ego’ to ‘eco’. Susan's words make us emphatically aware of the relevance and urgency of limiting our external growth as a species while refocusing on our inner development, both individually and collectively, thus lifting the veil to pathways of hope. Additionally, Susan unveils her latest program "Natural Leadership for Awareness Based Action" in partnership with the Foundation for Natural Leadership. Also, read her latest book: Where the Wild Things Were, written for both children and adults to entertain and educate about our planetary situation.

In this second episode together with our South African friend Ian Read, wilderness guide of the Wilderness Leadership School, we talk about Ian’s passion KENCHAAN. The KENCHAAN foundation aims to help local communities rediscover the value of the wilderness. By joining Ian on wilderness trails, local young people discover their purpose in life. Many of them now have their own local business. Listen to this inspiring episode of "Leaders into the Wild" by father and son Boy and Niek van Droffelaar.
Ian Read, wilderness guide of the Wilderness Leadership School and Kenchaan, is our guest in this first episode of season 2. Ian feels a bit pushed out of his comfort zone like trail participants. However, a beautiful dialogue unfolds between Ian, Niek and Boy about the transition from the structured world to the magic of the natural world and how people are affected by it. With intense gratitude for life, participants find their true purpose and translate it into awareness-based action.
