  • When Dating Hurts True Story with Bill Mitchell

    Send us Fan Mail

"When Dating Hurts" The breathtaking memoir about a dating violence murder. In June 2005, Kristin Mitchell was killed by her ex-boyfriend 20 days after her college graduation.  Our Family was faced with a tough decision: concentrate on healing ourselves - or use our experience to help others who might face a similar situation one day.  I copied that statement from Bills materials he put out for the world to learn of this unthinkable tragediy.

I personally felt that Bill did not breath the entire time of the interview but by grace we both made it through without crying.  It was a simple chain of moments that lead up to meeting Bill and acquiring his time for this interview.

I agree every one who could make a difference should listen to give listeners a broader view of simple words people say that means-they are in a violent dangerous situation and just don't know to express it in it's full clarity.

As you listen, consider pausing to  absorb what you heard or re-play and share.

Bill has a Podcast and the book.  Share, Share and Share.  It may save a life.

  • Embrace Your Super Power- Adapt-Pivot and Go in 2024

    Send us Fan Mail

Embrace your Super Power!  Step 1- Start by Recognizing and leveraging your unique strengths, abilities, gifts and talents!!  These innate talents and skills are the juice to empower you when facing challenges confidently and still make important decisions that align with your Vision!!

    2) Start with a Self-Assessment and  your goal setting plan of action
.  You are more than a job title. You are multi-dimensional wearing a lot of different hats personal and professional. There is a time for lanes and in your eyes you then prioritize them and put them on your calendar color coded by category and lane.
    3) Time Management is your decision on what you will do when.  That means sharing your calendar with family and business where it applies allows you to feel in control of your time and the things you plan to do and the things or time you have available for others.
    4) Nurture your relationships.  Remember to give as much as you take.  Business or personal there must be boundaries or you may find unhealthy individuals with access to areas of your life they should not be in or taking you for granted.  It is ok to protect your circles and your relationships.
    5) MENTORSHIP is a MASTER PLAN- Mentors are the new time savers and elevators to connecting to your most powerful gifted self.  They see and hold the belief of your dreams and goals and never waiver in that partnership to see you to each new level you  are willing to invest in for your present and future!!
    6) Support systems and networking are major!   Investing in building a strong network in personal and business circles.  Trust is a major area to learn how and who to qualify for access to you.  Like-minded people gravitate to one another and you.  My Faith goes before me so I trust in God for my discernment and of course use all the legal permissions that go beyond that person.  ( As you see in this video that one of my friends passed away and her evergreen evidence of our sessions are all I have left of that amazing woman..thank God he knew the value long before we met)
    7) Adapt and learn.  OMG!  If we find ourselves thinking in a box would we allow our coach or mentor to help snap us out of it.  The world is changing too fast to get stuck on personality differences.  Learn all you can in the field of communication.  Don't be left behind.
    8) Care for self, full circle is a priority like none of the above.  It becomes easier once we elevate and connect to our personal power and personal authority.  It makes past hurts and experience loose their power.  Some that exit are so empowering as it is not your loss it is the other loss.  OMG!  Enjoy the journey and make sure you can when you get where you are going.
    9)  Risk Management! Your goals all seem like risk to others. So Please get grounded and get the help surrounding you that you can use expert information to weigh the risk and some others will never understand so keep an eye out for progress wins and losses  so that you are not out on a dessert saying..I am almost there and you have no water.  That sounds strange but weigh and analyze the risk.  making then next one very important..
    10)  Financial Planning .  It is important to understand the financial risk and of entrepreneurship.  Develop a financial plan that includes budgets and emergency funds and guidance on managing changes that may impact your income and expenses.  Many keep these things in separate lanes so that your business must produce to add to and not take away.  Imagine how impacted life is when one or both of the bread winners get sick or pass away or can not stay the course.  Faith Courage and wisdom m

  • TIME! Is now! (Not Someday Ya'll)

    Send us Fan Mail

Angela (Angie) Gregory is a Norfolk, VA native and has lived in Hampton Roads all of her life, although she has traveled to various areas throughout the country, Angie, as she likes to be called, is a product of the Norfolk Public School System and she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and studied Business Administration at Norfolk State University. She’s the proud mother of two sons in Las Vegas, NV and a daughter and grandson in Hollywood, CA.

    • Angie has worked with the VA State Welfare Department, the Federal Government and her last job with them was a supervisory position at the Naval Supply Center. Before NSC she worked at the Naval Air Station, GS position and was assigned an additional collateral duty as the Federal Women’s Program Coordinator whereas she was a voice for the women there. She has a lengthy sales background including becoming a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and she retired from the Virginian Pilot Newspaper as a Field Representative in 2020.

    • Angie is currently serving in her church, New Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA as an Ordained Deacon and was recently elevated by God and her pastor, Cory G. Doxey to become Host of a new program, The Covenant Daily Bread whose mission is to engage listeners in conversation and discussion of the Bible and every day life’s challenges through prayer and scripture via telephone conference call.

The guitar is her favorite instrument and she took lessons years ago. Two years ago she learned to drive a three wheeler motorcycle and a few years ago she was a jazzercise student and believes in self care.

    Highlights from her Conversations Interview:
The Conversation with Angie began with the OUT THE BOX GLAMOUR MAKEOVER EXPERIENCE!!!   I love knowing this amazing woman over the years, so we hit the ground running with this variety of topics.

    The Glamour Makeover
✅Angie shares that when she took that ME TIME to get a full makeover and photo shoot with her host BEAUTY BY MARY…. She felt even more beautiful than she already felt with or without make up.  The icing on the cake was the reaction of her neighbor when she arrived home all glammed up and feeling fabulous.
✅More out the box TIME IS NOW decisions like the bucket list…Angie shares her story of learning to ride a 3-wheel motorcycle short of wrecking it she victoriously mastered another life fun goal.  No one talked her out of it and that result is fear get out the way.  Here I am.

✅Angie, shares that we can get stuck clinging to safety norms young or in our 80’s – remember age is just a number and we can fall into others’ opinions, should and more.  Get out of that comfort zone.  For example, computers are now more advanced and simpler, yet we feared them when the floppy disk was around.   Fear is not the boss of any of us unless we give it power.  We can fly like eagles and if we simply trust and go and do and dare to soar!!
Embracing this time, we live in starts with being open to listening to our children who were basically born with a computer in their hands that they boldly touch the world with. T
✅Angie shared that there is an app for everything. Things on her journey became so demanding of change that job security made it imperative to learn and put fear aside and go for the NEW WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY!!  Clinging to the “OLD SCHOOL no longer rules.
Embracing Technology, Angie shares it comes with perks.  One is being able to see our family members across the country with video tools.  VOICE and VIDEO as good almost as being in the room with the grandchildren.
    RELATIONSHIPS:
✅ Let’s talk a minute about that. Remembers a late friend of 50 years, Angie shared a memory of being able to have someone like her in her life for years.  A friendship card popped up in her paperwork from this dear friend full of encouragement
