What does it mean to say you are either winning or learning? When we have challenges or setbacks, it's easy to let our thoughts become very negative and judgmental about the situation. However, we don't have to allow those thoughts.
In order to be our best selves, we should be working toward a growth mindset. In this episode, we chat about what that means, how you can recognize your current mindset, and how to intentionally choose your thoughts.
I hope after listening to this episode, you are better equipped with questions to ask yourself to shift your perspective about a circumstance in your life.

If you are tuning in to my podcast, then you are most likely a high achiever. It's also highly probable that you've experienced the phenomenon called "Imposter Syndrome" at some point.
So, is it a real thing or just a confidence buzzword that has been created by our generation? To learn more about it, I'm excited to chat with my guest, Dr. Lisa Orbe-Austin.
Dr. Orbé-Austin is a licensed psychologist and executive coach, with a focus on career advancement, leadership development and job transitions. She is a co-founder and partner of Dynamic Transitions Psychological Consulting, a career and executive coaching consultancy, where she works mostly with high potential managers and executives.
She recently gave a TEDx talk entitled "The Imposter Syndrome Paradox" and is here to give us an in-depth look at this common problem.

Do you have a business idea brewing that is a bit unique and unorthodox? The world needs more leading ladies with a creative vision for how they want to show up in the marketplace.
Today's episode of the Leading Lady podcast is a fun look into a business that has truly created an outside-the-box, immersive shopping experience.
El Lunay is the co-founder of HERE, a pop-up shop - a whimsical business in Annapolis, Maryland that operates in a short-term, pop-up style storefront and showcases the work of local artisans.
HERE. a pop-up shop is truly one of my personal favorite places to shop with my girlfriends. It feels more like a community experience rather than a simple store.
I think you'll enjoy my chat with El about the creative process she uses for running the business as well as the unique challenges that an unorthodox model can sometimes create.

In today's episode, I am going to walk you through the 3 questions you should ask yourself daily if you want to feel focused and in control of your time. I love waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee in silence before the rest of my house gets up for the day. This quiet time allows me to sit with myself and think about my core values. I think about my priorities, plan out my day, and get in the right frame of mind so I can move throughout my day with purpose and intention.
I developed these questions for myself and now use them as one of the first exercises I do with my coaching clients. These questions lead them to feel more focused and in control of their time.
For many people, including myself, to-do lists can often feel daunting and heavy. I have actually gotten away from using a to-do list and now spend my energy on my top priorities that will move my business and life forward. How do you spend your morning? I encourage you to start using these questions as you start your day. Reach out to me on Instagram and share your answers with me and I will share mine! I love hearing from you!
