  • 37: Queens Fix Each Other's Crowns

Recently, I launched a new product in my coaching business. It was exciting and yet a little nerve-wracking to put myself out there by doing something new. After the launch, I began to get feedback about a typo found in one of my new product emails. It wasn't a big deal, but it did make me stop to think.

It caused me to reflect on how we interact with one another. We often point out mistakes to others because we want to be helpful, but is it really helpful or not?

This experience gave me an opportunity to think about how I respond to others, the feedback I give, and whether my intention is to empower women. I hope this episode gives you the same opportunity for reflection.

  • 35: Tips for Supporting Your Child's Academic Success with Karima Davis

With a career background in early childhood education, I feel like I should be able to help my own kids with whatever they need for school.

However, that's often not the case for parents. That's why it can be so valuable to hire a tutor to support your kids. In today's episode, Karima Davis gives us the ins and outs of hiring a tutor for your kids.

As an Academic Success Strategist, Karima has built lasting relationships with students, families, teachers, and administrators, maintaining a focus on providing unparalleled academic support at all times. In teaching students with learning differences, high-achievers, and those in between, she's discovered the magic that happens when students are allowed to embrace their uniqueness and uncover their strengths. Most importantly, her focus is on supporting the "whole child" and balancing academics with mental wellness.

Karima reminds us that success shouldn't take away your children's happiness.

I hope you enjoy this episode and her tips for helping your children be successful AND happy.

  • 32: Changing Your Relationship with Food and Your Body with Elizabeth Harris

I will be the first to admit that I have always had a love/hate relationship with food. Like many other leading ladies, I have struggled with food and body image for most of my adult life. When I met our guest on today's episode, I was finally able to identify some of my personal blocks and challenges were with nutrition and wellness.

Listen in to my conversation with Elizabeth Harris. Elizabeth is the owner of Elizabeth Harris Nutrition and Wellness, a registered dietitian and certified dietitian nutrition coach. She helps women choose nourishing foods and build lifelong healthful habits so they can never diet again. Her goal is to help women feel good about their wellness choices and their bodies and show up like an energized superstar for everyone and everything else they care about.

Unlike other nutrition programs that focus on what not to do or which foods to eliminate, restrict, or avoid, Elizabeth highlights all the foods and habits you can ADD to your routines to reach your goals while making nutrition simple, satisfying, and sustainable. She is passionate about putting pleasure and fun back into nutrition and food.

I hope that this episode inspires you to get curious about your nutrition habits and find ways to bring pleasure and joy back into eating healthily.
