Hey Y'all

To quote Charles Dickens, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." As I publish this episode it is unimaginable in everything that has happen and possibilities of things to come.  1 Sgt Will, who like many Veterans, have been apart of numerous scary situations.  In the pre-interview open, 1 Sgt Will reminds us to stay calm during those scary times.  In that spirit, we are moving on with the show.

In this episode, we finally get the gang (Will, Dawn, Hadley, and myself) together in talking about our experience and memories over the numerous years with ShareTheWill.  Y'all get a first hand look at what individuals coming together can accomplish when it feels like HOPE is lost.  We are stronger because of each other.

Hey Y'all

In May 2016, young Brock Fleming was diagnosed with DIPG Cancer.  DIPG Cancer is a rare and non-curable cancer that is a death sentence the day it is diagnose.  Brock's mommy, Melissa Fleming and her friend Susan Withey, share Brock's story of how he became one of too many superheroes who fought against cancer.  Since Brock passing in December of 2016, his spirit and love continues on with Team Brock getting close to a million dollars in the fight to cure cancer.

Hi Y'all!

Have you ever made a friend who helped shape your life? That would be how I describe my friendship to Mr. (DJ) Brandon Shabazz.  DJ Brandon is an open book guy willing to be real with his story and trust his gut to do the right thing.  In this episode, we touch on his experience in having a Vietnam Veteran father, losing his only sibling, and starting a family at the young age on 21.  Even through all that, Brandon found his way to having a servant heart.

The part I enjoy the most in this podcast episode is that I get to Pop Quiz the "DJ" to see if he knows his music :-)

Mr. & Mrs. Chody sit down together to record their first ever team podcast interview! We get to learn how Sheriff Chody was able to sweep his bride of 31 years off her feet.  Plus, we dive deep into what motivated him into law enforcement and how he brings his expertise into his role as county Sheriff.  The best part of this episode is we get to test Sheriff Chody in "how well he knows " his police movie or tv.  All in all, we learn that the Chody family is a tight group of loving, compassionate individuals who serve Williamson County (TX) as a team.
