Former Alcohol and Drug Enthusiast, Johannah was in the midst of a heavy party lifestyle. During this period of her life, was ignoring a mole on her arm that was continuing to change shape. She chose to put a band-aid over that mole, ignoring her intuition of knowing this was serious.  

In time, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma. During her recovery, she found that her friends and support circle fell away and found herself drinking alone and feeling alone. As a trained therapist, she lost her own lust for life.   It was in this dark space, she made a decision to abandon her old way of being and dig into herself to find her light - her spark. 

This was the transition and the more she loved on herself, the brighter she felt. Leaning into body movement and her own awareness of what she was consuming in nutrition and being mindful of her conversation, her social circle and the messages around her, she discovered what she had already had inside and has taken this message and is now sharing with her clients on how movement and positive mindset can set the path to your greatest inner joy.

3 season Ninja Warrior contestant, Noah Mittman is the founder of Snowman Films. His journey into creating his video platform business was a bit unusual.  

As a parkour enthusiast, he spent hours and hours improving and perfecting his skills alongside his friends. As part of this, he began filming their stunts as a way to watch and review their movement and to share their work.   This is when he discovered his talents in filming and editing. 

Also, reflecting back to his childhood, when he had his first in home TV at age 12. He craved and loved watching films for hours.  Leaning into the joy of viewing tv and films and his love for being behind the camera - he began to realize there is a world out there where he tapped into his joys and talents and is now using the video platform as a media to showcase his own customers gifts.  

As we are all home under stay at home orders through COVID-19, he and his team have just released a new course sharing how you can create a 30 second commercial showcasing your own business in an authentic manner.

Spent time this past weekend digging out the weeds in my vegetable garden this weekend in preparation for the season. In doing so, I was sure to dig out the roots of those weeds so that they could no longer return. It got me thinking about digging out the roots of the stories and judgments that we lay upon ourselves that no longer serve us. Instead, let's dig out the roots of those negative stories to make room for new ideas that nourish our being.

As a teen, Christina was diagnosed with a very rare esophageal disease. This led her on a multi year journey of heavy medications. As a young adult, with this disease running rampant, she lost her baby moments after her birth. In the hospital, she experienced her first out of body experience - witnessing the medical team sharing the grave news that there was little left they could do to save her life as well.

Watching this unfold in front of her, asked to go home. She was given that choice to do so OR to stay and what was to unfold for her life. She chose to stay. Months later met her husband and radically transformed her life.

Today, she heals others through their traumas because of her learnings and shares her gifts. 

To illuminate something, means to shine light on it and to make it brighter and more visible.

In truth, this is Michaela's second successful journey into business. Many years ago, she founded and ran a dog walking service.
