다음 달 10일은 문재인 정부 출범 1년을 맞이하는 날입니다.
2017년 3월 10일 박근혜 전 대통령이 탄핵되고 파면되어 보궐선거가 치러졌고, 2017년 5월 9일 문재인 후보가 제 19대 대통령으로 당선되었습니다.
그럼 문재인 대통령이 작년 선거운동 당시 내세운 대선공약과 2017년 5월 10일부터 취임 1년간 추진해온 정책들을 살펴보도록 합시다.
더불어민주당 소속으로 출마한 문재인 대통령은 일자리 확대, 노동환경 개선, 적폐청산, 건강보험 보장성 강화, 남북한 평화 등을 ""12대 약속""으로 정리하여 공약으로 내세웠습니다.
문재인 대통령은 일자리는 늘리고 노동시간과 비정규직은 줄이며, 고용의 질을 높여 일자리 문제를 해결하겠다고 다짐하였습니다. 그 중 한 가지 수단으로 공공부문 비정규직 정규직화를 추진하였습니다.
또한 2020년까지 최저임금 시급 1만원을 달성하겠다고 하였으며, 2018 년에는 16.4% 인상하여 큰 변화의 폭을 보였습니다.
비급여 의료항목을 축소하고 건강보험 적용을 대폭 확대하여 의료비를 경감하는 이른바 '문재인 케어'도 연일 화제가 되고 있습니다.
이를 찬성하며 지지를 보내는 이들이 있는 반면, 의사 협회로부터는 강한 반대를 받고 있어 앞으로의 정책 추진 방향에 많은 관심이 쏠리고 있습니다.
또한 문재인 대통령은 북한 핵문제를 반드시 해결하고 전쟁 위험이 없는 한반도를 만들며, 남북한의 시장을 하나로 통합하고 점진적으로 통일을 추진하겠다고 공약하였습니다.
이에 남북 고위급회담이 개최되고 지난 2월 평창 올림픽 기간에는 남북 여자 아이스 하키 단일팀이 구성되는 일이 있었습니다.
문재인 정부의 정책들을 바라보는 시각이 분분한 가운데 현정부의 크고작은 결정에 많은 이들의 이목이 집중되고 있습니다.

By next month, on the 10th, President Moon Jae-in's administration reaches its first year anniversary.
On March 10, 2017, the ousted President Park Guen-hye was impeached and dismissed, so the presidential election was followed after, and on May 9, 2017, Moon Jae-in was elected as the 19th President of Korea.
Then let us consider the presidential pledges he made during the election campaign and what policies were carried out in the past year since he started his term on the 10th of May, 2017.
President Moon Jae-in, who ran in the election as a candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, summed up his main policies into the "12 Pledges" including the following - increasing employment opportunities, improving conditions of employment, rooting out corruption, expanding health insurance coverage, and improving the relationship with North Korea.
President Moon pledged he would increase job openings, lesson working hours and numbers of contract workers, and improve working conditions to solve employment issues in Korea. The policy which converted contract workers into full-time employees was one of them.
Furthermore, he promised to achieve the goal of a 10,000 won minimum hourly wage rate by the year of 2020, and the rate for 2018 has increased by 16.4%, which is quite a big change.
The Moon Jae-in Care' is also a hot topic because it deals with reducing the uninsured medical treatment criteria and expanding insurance coverage so that medical expenses may be lessened.
While the policy is welcomed by many, it is faced with strong opposition from the Korean Medical Association, thus being an issue to keep an eye on.
President Moon also promised to solve the issue of North Korea's nuclear weapon, turn the peninsula into a safer place from war, unify the South and North Korean markets, and take gradual steps towards Korean Reunification.
In turn, South and North Korea held official talks and during the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in February, South and North Korea played ice hockey as a unified team.
While there are varied perspectives on policies of President Moon's Administration, many keep on showing keen interest in big or small decisions made by the government.
