On this episode of the (L)Earn podcast, Mahad interviews Arooba Asim – a content creator on the verge of launching her brand Artemis. Arooba is currently a 3rd year psychology student at the University of Ontario and she uses her spare time to share her love for writing, fitness, art and mindful way of living through social media.

Immigrating from Pakistan to Canada at the age of 8, Arooba speaks about being familiar with the struggle of adapting to a new culture while still embodying her roots. She gives insight on forming her brand around the concept of living a life being truthful to our desires despite the fear of backlash from family, friends and society. Finally, she discusses her desire to use her platform to be a good role model to young women by teaching them to use social media in a healthy manner and to voice their interests and passion. 

An old friend I recently started doing business with again caught up & discussed things like, double standards, business, crypto currency, lack of motivation & real life issues while being vulnerable with ourselves & everyone else.

Love is about understanding to be patient, understanding & affectionate with yourself before trying to give or receive love from anyone else. 
Love is an internal feeling and does not have to do with the validation of external opinions, but rather acceptance, validation & understanding of YOURSELF first.
