    Rodion Konstantinovich Shchedrin
Rodion Konstantinovich Shchedrin is a Soviet composer and public figure, a People's Artist of the USSR.
Rodion Shchedrin was born December 16, 1932. At the age of nine, Rodion was sent to music school at the Moscow Conservatory, but in the same year WWII started and the Shchedrin family was evacuated to the secret city of Samara. (It was closed because it had a huge bunker-shelter for Stalin and his people). The Shchedrins could only return to Moscow in 1943 when Rodion could continue his musical education.
Fame came to the young composer very early. Already in the fourth year of the conservatory he was accepted to the Union of Composers, and by 1973 Shchedrin himself was the leader of the Union. In 1955, Rodion graduated from the Conservatory where he later taught composition for a long time.
While studying and working Shchedrin gave concerts performing works of his own but became famous primarily because of his theatre works, the ballets "The Little Humpbacked Horse," "Anna Karenina," "Seagull," "The Lady with the Dog," and the operas "Not Love Only" and "Dead Souls."
It is noteworthy that of the composers of his generation, Shchedrin was the one to have most fully developed the theme of Russian folklore, having enriched it with new genres and modern compositional techniques. Russian themes run through almost all works of Shchedrin and most of his famous operas and ballets are based on the works of great Russian writers such as Tolstoy, Gogol, and Chekhov.
Shchedrin's spouse is the prima balle [...]

    Secretary:
    ----Formal English----
Misha: Yeah... I have to find a way out of this situation. I am really not ready for today's presentation. I don't want to lose face.
Secretary: Maybe I can help you prepare for the presentation? Of course, I'm not familiar with buying and selling shares, but maybe I can help you to organize all the materials.
Misha: Ideally, I'd like to postpone the meeting till next week. Please, notify everybody by email that the meeting is postponed due to urgent matters that need to be solved. But please, don't tell anybody that I forgot about this meeting.
Secretary: Of course I won't tell anybody.
Misha: Thank you. And... could you do me a favor please... remind me about this presentation at least a couple days in advance, okay?
    Secretary: I definitely will.
