Callejón de Huaylas y Huaraz
El Callejón de Huaylas, uno de los más bellos lugares que tiene el Perú, es la sección central del valle andino de la Cordillera de los Andes formado por el río Santa y está rodeado por la Cordillera Negra al oeste y la Cordillera Blanca al este.
La Cordillera Blanca es la cadena montañosa tropical más elevada del planeta con cimas superiores a los 6000 metros de altitud. En esta cordillera se encuentra el pico más alto del Perú, el Huascarán con 6,746 metros de altura. Al este de la Cordillera Blanca se encuentra el centro arqueológico Chavín de Huántar y hermosos paisajes andinos.
El Callejón de Huaylas fue la cuna de grandiosas culturas milenarias, destacando la cultura Chavín. El complejo arqueológico de Chavín de Huántar es un extraordinario yacimiento arqueológico de la cultura Chavín (1000 al 300 a.C), la cual representa la síntesis de la cultura andina. Está ubicado a 3,185 msnm y fue construido enteramente en piedra, con pasadizos subterráneos y una serie de estructuras piramidales. Chavín de Huántar es Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad declarado por la UNESCO.
La ciudad de Huaraz ubicada en el corazón del Callejón de Huaylas es el punto de partida principal de las tantas expediciones que se aventuran a recorrer los incontables atractivos del Parque Nacional Huascarán el cual fue declarado Patrimonio Natural de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.
En el Callejón de Huaylas se puede practicar diversos deportes de aventura como escalar montañas, esquí sobre nieve, ciclismo de montaña, canotaje y muchos más retos ideal para todo amante de la adrenalina.
La combinación de extraordinarios paisajes, el hermoso cielo azul de la sierra peruana, cultura, aventura y más hacen del Callejón de Huaylas y Huaraz un destino inolvidable.

Alley of Huaylas and Huaraz
Huaylas Alley, one of the most beautiful places is Peru, is the center central section of the Andean Vvalley formed by the Santa River and is surrounded by the Cordillera Negra to the west and the Cordillera Blanca to the east.
The Cordillera Blanca is the highest tropical mountain chain in the world, with peaks over six thousand6000 meters high. One of them is the Huascaran, Peru's highest peak at 6,746 meters. East of the Cordillera Blanca are the Chavin archaeological site and beautiful Andean landscapes.
Huaylas Alley was the cradle of great ancient cultures, particularly the Chavin culture. The archaeological complex of Chavin is an extraordinary archaeological site of Chavin culture (1000 to 300 BC), which represents the synthesis of Andean culture. It is 3,185 meters high and built entirely of stone, with underground passages and a series of pyramid structures. Chavin is on UNESCO's Cultural Heritage of Humanity list.
The city of Huaraz in the heart of the Callejon de Huaylas is the main starting point of many expeditions that venture across the countless attractions of the Huascaran National Park, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
In the Huaylas Alley, you can practice different sports such as mountain climbing, snow skiing, mountain biking, canoeing, and many more challenges ideal for all lovers of adrenaline.
