پیر سہاوا ایک مقبول سیاحتی مقام ہے جو پاکستان کے دارالحکومت اسلام آباد کے ٹھیک باہر کوہ مارگلہ کی چوٹی پر واقع ہے۔

یہ منال گاؤں میں 5,000 فٹ کی اونچائی پر واقع ہے، جو کہ ہری پور ضلع میں ہے۔

اپنی اعلی بلندی کی وجہ سے یہ تفریحی مقام دیہی علاقوں کا دلکش نظارہ پیش کرتا ہے۔

مقامی لوگ بھی پکنک منانے، پرندوں کو دیکھنے اور اس کی قدرتی آبادی میں جنگلاتی زندگی کا نظارہ کرنے کے لئے پیر سہاوا جاتے ہیں۔پیر سہاوا کی تعمیر 2006 میں مکمل ہوئی۔

اس تفریحی مقام پر بہت کم برف باری ہوتی ہے، کیونکہ تعمیری کام کی تکمیل کے تقریبا چھہ سالوں بعد تک یہاں پہلی چند انچ کی برف باری نہیں ہوئی تھی۔

پیر سہاوا کو اسلام آباد کا بلند ترین سیاحتی مقام ہونے کا امتیاز بھی حاصل ہے۔

اسلام آباد سے، اس تفریحی مقام تک ایک گھمائودار سڑک کے ذریعہ پہنچا جا سکتا ہے جو پہاڑ پر اوپر جاتی ہے اور علاقے کا ایک حیرت انگیز نظارہ بھی پیش کرتی ہے۔

Pir Sohawa is a popular tourist destination located at the crest of Margalla Hills just outside of Pakistan's capital city of Islamabad.

It sits at an altitude of 5,000 feet in the village of Monal, which is located in Haripur District.

Because of its high elevation, the resort offers picturesque views of the countryside.

The locals also enjoy going to Pir Sohawa for picnics, birdwatching, and to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.

The construction of Pir Sohawa was finished in 2006.

The resort gets very little snowfall, as the first few inches of snow did not fall there until nearly six years after the construction work was completed.

Pir Sohawa also gets the distinction of being the highest tourist destination in Islamabad.

From Islamabad, the resort can be reached via a winding road that meanders up the mountain and itself offers stunning views of the area.

Upon arriving at Pir Sohawa on the top of the mountain, visitors are indulged in a peaceful wooded area which is home to a variety of birds and other animals.

There is also a restaurant called Monal Restaurant located at the top of the mountain.

The restaurant's terraces offer panoramic views of Islamabad during the day and breathtaking views of the city lights at night.

Following monsoon season, Pir Sohawa's rolling hills turn green.

Those who are more adventurous and wish to hike up the mountain can also do so instead as there is a path.

However, hikers will find themselves in precious positions as they climb the mountain as the hike is nearly plumb starting from the hamlet of Saidpur in Islamabad.
