The idea that the student has grown up as a goat herd and has played with goats. That she has an emotional attachment with goats. That she will miss the goats when she is at school. Is a powerful strength that provides a channel into activating the student's agency.

If the answer is yes, then if you had to design a program for a singing camp. What would that look like? Maybe a lot of antakshari playing. Then some speculation on meanings. Lots of laughter. Finding out words, their meanings and adding them to ones brain. The language gym! Maybe writing them out in ROMAJI. That is the word for the script when you write Japanese using English alphabets. Isn't writing Hindi words, movie posters, using the English alphabet also ROMAJI? I think it is.

If you play cricket, then you know cricket words. English words like out, catch, bat and ball. How many words of the cricket language, cricket vocabulary, do you have? Can you then learn more cricket words? Do you know other English words? Police, Bus, Bank, Okay?

I asked Canva and Iain, my son, for help to do my Podcast Covers. I activated my play mode to do the covers. Then when my brain fired up I sat down to build a an excel/ Airtable spread sheet of topics for future podcast episodes.

This is a Sunday recording. A story of how I got into making podcasts. Well not the whole story. I have omitted a lot of the disasters. The Failures. For while I am forever failing in things I start. Never finishing things I start. That is another way to tell a story. This one is more orientated to you. You who have thought about it. Hmmm, should I do podcasts? Maybe. Maybe another time. The what ifs killed it. That is what happened to me too.

But this time - here I am. Warts and all.

Yes I have the Anchor app on my phone. And I will be posting from there. Yes from the phone. If there is one thing I know, it is 'never wait'. Procrastination hovers!! Beware.

(Yesterday) was week 10. That is when I has a class - that I refer to as the 'lets pack up' and move on class. I divide a semester of 12 weeks into 4 quarters of 3 classes. So this is the last quarter. What did I say in class? Well, I wrote up what I said. Some of it. As a journal entry. 

Also, To class I took a series of phrases that I had been  listening to in the podcasts over the week. And one of them was ‘head  work, hand work and heart work’. This person talking is Justine Toh, a contributor to the God Forbid podcast (ABC Australia) and I’ve heard her there. Then she’s also written a  book The Achievement Addiction, which you can get on Kindle.
