Andre Plaut wears many hats including Learning Designer, Facilitator, & Ethics Consultant. Over the last seven years, Andre Plaut has been designing & delivering learning experiences for Apple, Obama for America, and General Assembly. He is now the director of L&D at Huge Inc. and is responsible for building out learning & development infrastructure and culture across the organization. Rudyard Hopkins is a product manager at Pluralsight, a leading platform in technology learning, where he is working to realize the potential of users and bridge the technology skills gap. He is also the founder of PM Potential, an initiative with the goal of enabling others through curriculum design, content creation, and personal coaching to break into the professional field of product management. Rud shares his background in transitioning from marketing and advertising to instructional design and user experience, and ultimately to product management - always with the goal of delighting and building expertise for learners. 

Kim is a passionate eLearning and online learning creator with a background in organizational development, learning, training, and graphic design. She likes to inspire learning through creative training solutions that solve real business problems. Beyond her work as director of Belvista Studios, she has also co-founded the Instructional Design Academy - a home for Instructional Designers with the goal of providing instructional design workshops and coaching. I’m excited to have Kim on the show to talk about some of the projects the team at Belvista has done and to better understand how the team works to meet the company's vision of inspiring learning.

Recently Dr. West and his collaborators received the Outstanding Book Award from the Association for Education Communication and Technology for his book titled "Foundations of Learning and Instructional Design Technology: The Past, Present, and Future of Learning and Instructional Design Technology". 

Dr. Richard E. West is an associate professor of Instructional Psychology and Technology at Brigham Young University. He teaches courses in instructional design, academic writing, and the foundations of the field of learning and instructional design technology.

What are the most effective ways we can reskill the workforce as technology rapidly changes? How are the best learning products built and evaluated?
