As both an organizational consultant and clinical psychologist, he is one of the architects of the emerging field of family enterprise consulting. He is a family business fellow at the Cornell Johnson College of Business. He was recently cited by Family Wealth Report for special commendation as an individual thought leader. As a founding member of the Family Firm Institute, he has served on their board, written frequently for their journal Family Business Review, and was awarded the Richard Beckhard and International Awards for contributions to practice. In 2007 he was Thinker in Residence for S. Australia, helping the region design a strategic plan for the future of their entrepreneurial and family businesses.

Following on from the previous episode about learning styles, this week on Learning For Legacy, Afam discusses how memory works and how that influences creative thinking. Find out all about the different parts of the brain, what they're responsible for, and what the four Rs of memory are.

Today we look at one of the 4 key aspects of generational wealth, understanding your learning style. In this episode of Learning for Legacy, Afam will be covering topics such as intelligence, determining your learning style, and the concept of multiple intelligences.

A Concrete Random thinker is experimental and tries to solves problems, often in different ways. Abstract Random thinkers are influenced by feelings and emotions and can associate those with information. Abstract Sequential people think in concepts and find it easy to work out what is important.
