Podcaster of "Love Where You Are" Somer Colbert talks about when we've been hurt, rejected, and forgotten inside the four walls of church. Somer shares on how to heal when we've experienced mistreatment from believers and gain a biblical perspective to not let unforgiveness hold us back from doing the work God has set before us. One of the points she talks about is the danger of when church becomes tribalism. It's not about being loyal to a tribe, it's about serving and worshipping the Lord and treating others based on what scripture says. Somer says, "If being hurt by the church causes you to lose faith in God then your faith was in people not God." This is so true and there are many that have been wounded in the church, but God never wants us to stay in that place. He desires us to look to Him to make our heart whole again and know this is an attempt by the enemy to destroy unity among God's people.
