For this last episode of season 12, the poem is entitled, "The Mouse," the song is an old hymn arranged and performed by Vic and Eva, entitled, "Shall We Gather by the River," and the teaching is from my book, Advanced Christianity entitled, "In God We Trust." See you next time with season 13.

I call a season, 1 month. I have today's episode and one more to finish off 12 months of Leaving the Grandstand World. How about that? Although I have few listeners, the quality and variety of each episode is excellent and my hope and prayer is that more people discover these episodes and choose to go back to the first one and listen to them all.
The poem for today is entitled, "The Surfer" and the song is "I'll Sing a Baby's Laugh" (just my guitar and me) and the teaching is from Advanced Christianity entitled, "Casting Spells." Be blessed!

March has already arrived. Today's poem is entitled, "My Tool" while the song is "We Fall Into Traditions." Today's teaching is from my book, Advanced Christianity and is entitled, "God Rules, the World Drools." It should be interesting.

This is my 100th episode of Leaving the Grandstand World. I start off with a poem I found in the public domain entitled, "The Wise Shall Bring Their Learning" then I present an old hymn, "The Old Rugged Cross." Doing individual notes in a song is quite a challenge to me as I don't read music. This song is literally filled with individual notes which I did with the help of God. Finally the teaching is from an out of print book of mine (Extreme Christianity) and is entitled, "Suffering in Compliance or Suffering in Defiance."

Here we are already in the second month of the new year. Are you still trying to Leave the Grandstand World? Elizabeth Wheeler Wilcox wrote the poem I produced many, many years ago. It is in the public domain and entitled, "Was, Is and Yet to Be." The song I share today is old also. It is entitled, "Cruise a While" and is virtually unproduced. Just me and a guitar on an old tape player--but I feel the lyrics are worthwhile to share with you. Finally, today, I share two selections from A Holy Hodgepodge, "Pawing at the Rug," and "All Wrapped Up." These are life lessons I was inspired to write down. I was inspired by my dogs, many years ago.

We continue to make an effort to leave the Grandstand World with the episode today. I begin with a poem, "The Map" then I share a song, "The Bottom Line," and, as usual, end with a teaching. This time it is from Extreme Christianity (which is no longer in print). This teaching is almost poetic in nature and is entitled, "Stop It! Stop It Now!"

The song I share today wasn't produced professionally (or even amateurishly). Just me and my guitar. I start with a poem, "I'm More Than I Am" then that song, "I'm Comin' Home to God, That's Right" and finally, from A Course in Christianity, "Holiness."

The poem today is "Rain Child," the song is "We'll Rarely Get the Victory" (on the wings of just one prayer). The teaching is from Advanced Christianity and is entitled, "The Battle Is Already Won."

Do we have anchors dragging the carnal murky bottomland, stirring up the issues which detract from our spiritual journey as we sail toward the Kingdom of God? The teaching today is from A Holy Hodgepodge and is entitled, "Anchors Away." The poem, heard first, is "Sprinkle Forth" and the song is "When the Fire's Over." You will probably enjoy them all.

Today we explore flowers in the poem and music I share. The poem is entitled, "Summer Flowers" and I found it in the public domain. I then narrated it using music by Kevin Macleod (which he allows by licensing it as Creative Commons with Attribution). The song Eva and I sang in today's episode is also public domain and is entitled, "The Lily of the Valley." See the flower theme for today? Finally the teaching is from my book, The Opening Window, and is from that very Lily of the Valley, Jesus Christ, when He teaches us to "Judge Not."
