I am sharing a lengthy episode today but one that will lead automatically to an exit from this Grandstand World. We ALL must die to self. It is not taught seriously in many churches but it is clear what we must do according to Scripture. This 23 minute teaching is entitled "The DTS Society" (DTS stands for Die to Self). It comes at the end. Before that, I share a poem, "There Was a Teacher Long Ago" and a song, "A Perpetual Jubilee." This song was shared as a poem in episode 41 but was originally written as a song. Much to think about this episode. Do be blessed!

The poem today is entitled, The Dark - Parts 1 and 3 then, uncharacteristically I transition into the teaching for today which is from The New Batch. It is entitled The Flesh and the Spirit - A Dialogue. I wrap this episode of Leaving the Grandstand World up with a song, He Is Coming. I'm sure you will be blessed.
Please enjoy seeing the lyrics to the song and the words to the poetry here at the Show Notes.

A little bit of a dream theme going on today. We start off with a poem "I Feel I'm at a Waking Stage" then march into an original song entitled "All My Dreams" and finish with a teaching from "The New Batch" of my as yet unpublished writings, entitled "The Meek Will Inherit the Earth."

In our continuing desire to leave the world of fate, of chance, today I want to share something I wrote recently while waiting for orders to come from Doordash. I visit a local town and Doordash sends me orders for dinners that people order on line and I get the food from the participating restaurant and deliver it to the home or business. While I was waiting for orders (which come frequently) I was studying Luke 8:35 about the demon possessed man. I'll share with you my writing inspired by that passage. It is entitled "A Legion of Demons." But before that I share a song, "It's You, O Lord, It's You," and a poem, "Jesus." God bless!!

The thread of truth running through all the creative sharings today seem VERY appropriate for the times we are in. The thread might be described as exploring the laws of God and man and extracting from that exploration the fact that mankind more often desires the laws of man and its associated carnality over the laws of God and our potential spirituality. See what you think.
We start off with a poem entitled, "Let's Break Some Laws," then you'll hear a brief explanation of how the song, "Seems Nobody Wants to" was written (then the song) and finally I want to share with you a teaching from "The New Batch" (as yet unpublished writings of mine except for this podcast). The teaching title is, "Victors in Christ."
