Lee Cronin's The Mummy is set to bring the story back to its horror roots, as showcased in its first teaser trailer. The film, directed by Cronin and produced by James Wan, Jason Blum, and John Keville, centers on a journalist whose daughter disappears and returns eight years later as a source of terror. The teaser features gruesome imagery like skin peeling, head bashing, and insects, promising a full-horror experience.
