Eon Tyrell Huntley is a lifelong Brooklynite, father, renter, retail worker, parent advocate and democratic socialist who has always stood up for his community. When his daughter’s neighborhood school found itself in dire need of advocacy and support during the pandemic, he stepped up as PTA President. When he continued to witness the devastating and inequitable impact of the pandemic on his greater community, he leveraged neighborhood ties to found and run a local food bank at the school for nearby families.
