Jesus has provided us with his idea of what should happen within the kingdom of God. We must realize what Jesus wants to happen within the kingdom of God…that the kingdom of God is constantly in the midst of arriving, until it is completely present…so we can begin to enact that plan.

The term “kingdom of God” is often heard in church, yet many Christians would probably admit to a lack of understanding about what it is, how it functions, and what their role is in it. Over the next four weeks, this series will speak to those questions.

The apostle Paul took three major missionary journeys throughout the Roman Empire. This four-week series will look at each of these trips from a high overview and then in the last week examine the overlapping themes present for each of them as we explore what it means to be a missionary today.

The gospel is countercultural. When believed and taken to heart, it should change society. How will living out the gospel challenge oppression and brokenness in our community?

Being any kind of leader can be a terrifying feeling. But each of us, no matter our status in life, is called to be a spiritual leader in the lives of the next generation. May each parent, grandparent, teenager, and child carry their responsibility to lead the next generation to grow spiritually.

Despite our present suffering, we can be comforted knowing that Jesus not only experienced pain too, but he also grieves for his children. In this installment, when life becomes difficult, rely wholly on Jesus.

In this installment, we strive to be more like the father in the parable of the prodigal son, and less like the elder brother. We must treat our friends who have left the faith with love and respect, being eager to show them the same type of love Jesus shows to the lost.
