We all have suffered with something in our lives. Some of us have gone through avoidable suffering, simply because of negative things that we have been told or have even told ourselves, all of which are far from the truth. On this journey of building a wealthy legacy, I have seen many parentpreneurs grow their businesses, but not their legacy. They are afraid of beginning the journey simply because they aren’t confident or just lack the proper knowledge in how to successfully start their business. Often, they tend to make simple mistakes such as thinking that their kids won’t be interested in learning about money management and allowing them to just accept whatever life throws their way.

Being a parent, we want to live life on our own terms. But society places us in a box, because some of us may be single parents and they stereotype us and our children. They assume that our kids will be financially illiterate, or they will go to prison after high school, or they be working from paycheck to paycheck their entire lives with no promising future.

The biggest lie we tell ourselves is that we don't have time to teach our kids about money management because we work all day, every day. However, there’s a system in place built to help you with your time management to build wealth and raise financially-smart kids. There's nothing like feeling the need to want more and build wealth, yet feeling like you're incapable. It’s a type of belief that makes you feel like you're not good enough. Maybe it was your upbringing or your own faulty doubts that makes you feel like you can't lead your family to be wealthy. Growing up, many of us didn't think about wealth. We only knew how to survive, and this embedded mentality keeps us from growing.

The new, pain-free way to success with your children is speaking to them about money! Growing up, many of us didn’t know how money worked and why we needed it. Many of our parents didn’t teach us basic fundamentals regarding money and we all suffered from the lack of knowledge. Our parents did the best they could for us and we appreciate them for it. Now, in this new day and age, we have all the tools at our fingertips. There are no excuses as to why we can't assist our children in learning about financial literacy.
