Gerhardt Konig is currently on trial for the attempted murder of his wife, Arielle, during a hike on the Pali Puka trail in Honolulu, Hawaii. 

Arielle has survived to testify against her husband who allegedly tried to push her off a cliff, then attempted to inject her with a foreign substance, before finally hitting her repeatedly with a lava rock.

The evidence appears to be stacking up against Gerhardt, who claims self defense. Emily and Shane are providing their thoughts on the trial thus far, and will continue to follow the case as it progresses.
