On the 28th episode of Legend Samm and Amy discuss the mysterious circumstances around the Winchester Mystery House. Sarah Lockwood Winchester was an extremely intelligent and beautiful woman born into the upper class of Connecticut society and later became the heiress to the mass fortune of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company after the death of her husband. Was she really shrouded in guilt due to the many deaths incurred at the hands of the Winchester rifle so much so that she sought advice from a medium? Did the medium really tell her that she had to build a house for all the victims of her late husband’s rifle company? One in which she could never stop building on unless she wanted to suffer the wrath of the spirits and face certain death? I’m sure at the time it sounded like a marvelous investment until immediately upon moving in spooky things started happening. Whispers in the night, moving objects, and disappearing figures are just some of the strange occurrences that have taken place in this home. On the 25th episode of Legend, Amy tells Samm all about Thunderbirds.

Thunderbirds, not to be confused with Thundercats, are a prominent part of Native America Culture. They are said to have great power (maybe even a super power or two) and could either protect or destroy humans without batting an eye. So why are we talking about them? Because people are still reporting sightings of them! All the way from Alaska, Pennsylvania and even near the Jersey Shore. Are they really seeing the Thunderbird? On the 24th episode of Legend, Samm and Amy discuss the horrific murders of the DeFeo family and the supposed paranormal hauntings of the home where it all took place.

On the 22nd episode of Legend, Samm and Amy discuss the infamous Annabelle doll.

 

Has your mother ever given you an interesting, definitely not age appropriate, gift? Did the gift happen to wander around your house and cause mayhem? No? Mine either. But Donna’s mom decided that a second hand doll would make a lovely present for her daughter and thus begins, maybe, the story of Annabelle. Don’t be as trusting as Donna and Angie and feel bad for a spirit that claims to be a seven year old girl. If anything Ed has ever said is true, it’s not a spirit but a demon!

On the 21st episode of Legend Amy tells Samm how the Gold Brook Covered Bridge came to be known as Emily’s Bridge.

Have you ever been so in love with someone you wanted to run away and elope? Did that person feel the same? Did they knock you up and then kill themselves? Well all of that may or may not have happened to a woman named Emily sometime between 1845 and 1925.
