Legends with Bevo

Bevo caught up with Anne Hatchard, the two-time premiership star of the Adelaide Crows AFLW side in the lead up to the start of the 2020 AFLW season.  We previewed the season ahead, found out her funniest team mates and one of Anne's party tricks!

In one of my favourite interviews ever, it was a thrill to recently catch up and have a chat with Corey 'Homicide' Williams.  Homicide won the NBL MVP award back in 2010 with the Townsville Crocodiles and has now become one of the best basketball commentators in Australia.

We chatted about his illustrious career as a player and a commentator, what makes him and fellow commentator John Casey such a great duo, the Boomers Olympics medal chances in 2021 and Homicide's Twitter feud with NBA championship winner, Andrew Bogut.

I caught up for a chat with one of Australia's best young beach volleyballer's, Mariafe Artacho del Solar.  We talked about the Tokyo Olympics being postponed and how this affects her training, what she's been up to with social isolation, her beach volleyball career so far and what it was like representing Australia at the Rio Olympics and Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast.

I was lucky recently to catch up with a friend of mine who’s one of the loveliest and hard working girls you can meet, Alissa Smith.

Alissa Smith is a Fox Sports Presenter and she tells a hilarious story about how she had a wardrobe malfunction on national television recently and a classic story about her first date with her partner, former Manly star, Matt Ballin, her experience on one of Australia’s favourite soapies and what it was like as a child to mix with some of the big names of country and western music.

I had the great pleasure of catching up recently for an online chat with two time premiership star and four time Essendon Football Club best and fairest winner Simon Madden.

We talked about Simon's business mentoring program, Simon Madden Consulting, what it was like playing in the brutal 80's and playing under the great Kevin Sheedy.

We also discussed Simon's love for music, funniest team mates, toughest opponents and the premiership club that Simon has set up.

I was very lucky to interview the lovely Lynne McGranger who has played the character of Irene Roberts on Home and Away for an amazing 27 years.  We discussed the future of the show beyond Covid 19, what Lynne loves most about Summer Bay, her love for the Sydney Swans and why former West Coast star Ben Cousins reached out to her.

In a special interview, I caught up with Dr James McLeod a GP from the Riverland to talk all things Covid 19 and James provided some very interesting and valuable tips to keep us safe from the virus.

In the first ever Legends with Bevo in front of a live audience I caught up with Alan Stringer, two-time premiership star from the Glenelg Football Club.

Strings shared his mental health battles and how he overcame them, the Bays breaking their premiership drought in 2019, funniest pranks he's been involved in and some of the highlights of his playing career.

I had the great joy of catching up in The Garden of Unearthly Delights with one of Australia's best young comedians and former Triple J breakfast show co-host, Tom Ballard.  We talked about Tom's show at the Adelaide Fringe called Enough, life growing up in Warnambool, his journey so far and I share a funny story with Tom about a time that I was an extra in the Please Like Me Television Show.

In one of the best episodes of the past two years, I had the great pleasure of catching up with some PAFC legends before the club's very special 150th year anniversary gala event.
