On this week’s 33rd episode of the Legion of Leia podcast, Jennifer Muro, animation writer for Justice League Action, League of Buddies and Las Leyendas, just to name a few, joins myself and my co-hosts Anastasia Washington and Sabina Ibarra. This week we talk about women writing in animation and all the amazing projects Jennifer has … at least the ones she can talk about! You will also sadly discover the new obsession that is making me a digital crazy cat lady called Neko Atsume. I apologize in advance.

In this week’s topics, we have the Xena reboot actually exploring the love between Gabrielle and Xena, which is pretty fantastic news. Then there are the three actors in the unofficial running to play young Han in the Han Solo standalone film. If you haven’t seen Hail, Caesar, you should, just to check out Alden Ehrenreich, who is definitely my pick. We also gush about John Boyega‘s trip to a children’s hospital in character. We’ve got the Star Wars: Episode VIII set pics, though you certainly don’t have to look. We don’t tell you what’s in them. Speaking of spoiler territory, we also discuss Ian McShane‘s slip with Game of Thrones, which he says is full of “tits and dragons.” Well, yes. Yes it is. So, when is a spoiler a spoiler? When is it okay to talk about things? We’ll give you our thoughts! We’d love to hear yours.

Of course, we had to discuss Hamilton being performed at the White House. Sabina is so freaking excited! Oh, and the little matter of a new Indiana Jones film with Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg!

On this week’s 32nd episode of the Legion of Leia podcast, Katharine Emmer, star, director, producer, writer and editor (seriously!) of the indie film Life in Color, joins myself and my co-hosts Anastasia Washington and Sabina Ibarra. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon in Justice League, Gal Gadot on playing Wonder Woman and feminism, Mark Hamill on whether or not Luke Skywalker is gay and Chewbacca being confirmed for the Han Solo film!

On this week’s 31st episode of the Legion of Leia podcast, The Flash and Spartacus star Liam McIntyre joins myself and my co-host Sabina Ibarra. (Anastasia is off doing exciting geek things!) Liam has a brand new card game that he’s Kickstarting called Monster Lab. You play as a mad scientist, and create monsters to battle with. It’s super cool and the art by Cris Olansamuelle is amazing!
