We’re talking about the murder of Leigh Leigh. She was just 14 years old when her battered naked body was found in the sand dunes of Stockton Beach, New South Wales, on the east coast of Australia. She had been sexually assaulted and then killed in the most horrific way - and then her body was just left there in the sand. And even with a wave of people admitting to participating in Leigh Leigh’s assault and death, justice would not be served. In telling this story, it’s a reminder that not everyone who commits evil acts, even after admission, will ever be punished, because the justice system in most of the world is broken. And so I share what happened to Leigh Leigh because it should never be forgotten. She was a beautiful young woman who was plucked from this world by monsters that still walk amongst us.
