A shopping trip, two knives, and questions of competency. 

On June 3rd, 2024, 38-year-old Margot Wood and her son, Julian, stopped at the Giant Eagle in North Olmsted, Ohio, to pick up groceries. 

As Margot pushed Julian in the shopping cart to her silver minivan, the mother and son were attacked by a woman wielding a knife. Three-year-old Julian was killed. 

32-year-old, Bionca Ellis had a history of mental illness. But no one could’ve imagined such a brutal attack in broad daylight with people all around. 

As the case made its way to trial there were questions as to whether or not Ellis would be held criminally responsible.

Arthur Knight, distinctive tattoos and a burial at sea.

In 2021 a patient named Arthur Knight was admitted to Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland. 

Healthcare workers noticed that his tattoos were strikingly similar to an American born man wanted for rape charges out of Utah. That man was Nicholas (Alahverdian) Rossi. 

When the man in the hospital was awake and conscious, he claimed he was an Irish born orphan who had never set foot on American soil. He was being framed. 

Authorities were convinced they had located fugitive Nicholas Rossi. What was the truth?

On March 9th, 2026, 55-year-old Gretchen Ryan called 911 to report that she had found her 16-year-old daughter Grace unresponsive on the bathroom floor. 

First responders arrived and Grace Ryan was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Investigators found empty bottles of alcohol hidden throughout the teenage girl’s room. 

At first her mother claimed she didn’t know if her daughter had been “getting into her stuff” but an investigation revealed something more sinister than anyone could have imagined.

An allegation, a double murder, and a gold chain necklace. 

In April of 2022 concerned family members requested a welfare check at the home of 35-year-old Raechyl Blackshear. 

Weeks earlier Raechyl had brought her 14-year-old daughter, Jayla to the Anchorage Police Department. Jayla told officials she had been sexually assaulted by a male family member.

After the murder of Jacqeline Bonds in 1963, after receiving a life sentence, Harvey Marcelin was released on lifetime parole. 

About a year after his release, a man walking in Central Park discovered a bag of dismembered remains. 

The victim was later identified as 29-year-old Ana Laura Sierra. Marcelin plead guilty to manslaughter. But once again, he wouldn’t remain behind bars.

Allegations, an alibi witness, and a lifetime sentence.

On April 18th, 1963, 21-year-old Jacqueline Bonds was supposed to testify in front of the grand jury as an alibi witness for a first-degree rape case.

She had been subpoenaed by the defendant, 24-year-old Harvey Marcelin.

But Jacqueline didn’t show up for court that day. 

Hours later she was shot to death in her Manhattan Apartment.
