When Crystal Hamilton failed to show up for a girl’s night out with friends, her friends thought she was running late. What they didn’t know, was that her husband had shot her dead, and then he got into a stand-off with responding officers, wounding 2 officers and killing a rookie on her first day on patrol.
Join Margot as she discusses the deadly encounter, and the trial in VA v. Ronald Hamilton.

The 40-member Green River Task Force was put together in 1982 to solve the cases tied to the Green River Murders. Over the years, the Task Force would get promising leads, but when executing search warrants, they couldn’t find a connection between the suspect and the crimes. They did get his DNA though. But it would take years to tie anyone directly to the murders using DNA.
Part 2 explores the 2001 arrest of the Green River Killer and his subsequent confession.
