She is part of the Mezclado collective, Fa4 collective, and has partnered up with her brothers to create the Tafoya Art Project.

Cynthia and I go all the way back to those old middle school days, we were really good friends that unfortunately lost touch once we went to high school we when our separate ways, but to my surprise and thanks to social media, read her work and was really impress by how far she has come.

I asked her to come on and talk to me about what she has been up too. I had so much fun catching up with an old friend that I did not want it to end(as you can tell by the length of the show).

We talked about her poetry, her struggle with labels, and the influence her family and today's social issues has on her work.

The Violence Intervention Program sees thousands of children and caregivers in distress every year, each with their own unique story and struggle.

He knows that there is always more work to be done. He set this example to his daughters in order for them to succeed in life.
