  • Glory Through the Cross | John 17:1-5
    July 5th, 2026
    Pastor Luke Pauli
This weekend we kick off our new sermon series based on John 17. Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at the longest prayer of Jesus recorded in Scripture. Commonly titled “The High Priestly Prayer,” Jesus prays for Himself, His disciples, and all believers. This prayer gives us a glimpse into His very heart.
It has been said that if you really want to know a person’s heart, you need to listen to them pray. Jesus invites you and me into His prayer so that we will know with certainty what is on His heart. What we will discover in this study is that you are on His heart. Jesus loves you so much that He died for you. He prayed for you as the hour came for Him to be crucified, and He is praying for you even now.
Join us as we embark on this study throughout the month of July. Be in prayer that you will grow closer in your relationship with Jesus. Read John 17 repeatedly for your own encouragement and perhaps even memorize it. Invite a friend to join with you at any of our services or campuses. Pray boldly that Jesus will be glorified in your life, in the life of our church, and in the lives of those who have yet to believe.

  • Where do you turn? | Psalm 139
    June 28th, 2026
    Pastor Chad McDonald
Psalm 139 is often thought to be the cry of a man who is running from God, a fugitive from God’s presence. It’s not hard to see where this idea comes from. In verse 7 he says, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence.”
You are immediately left with the impression of someone who is running away from God. He is aware that God has searched him and knows everything about him. God has sifted through every area of his life, and now the psalmist believes that the only thing he can do is run. For this reason, many have viewed this psalm as a picture of God as the Great Pursuer and the psalmist as the great fugitive.
The real theme, however, is the unlimited security and total safety that the psalmist discovers in God. God’s presence, far from being something he wants to escape, is the very security of his life. This is not a man who is fleeing from God in disobedience but a man who is running to God for security in a difficult and anxious moment.
Where do you turn when things get difficult? Where do you look when anxious thoughts enter your mind? I pray you will join us this weekend as the psalmist shows us the beauty of turning to God as the One who knows us completely, is with us continually, and made us perfectly.
This weekend we will also take time to honor and recognize our first responders, military service members, and veterans. This is always a very special service for our church family, and I pray that you will invite a friend to join us as we worship King Jesus.
    In Christ,
    Pastor Chad

  • Finally Home | Psalm 122
    June 14th, 2026
    Pastor Chad McDonald
Have you ever planned a vacation for months in advance? You have been anticipating this trip for months, and then, you finally arrive. Your feet hit the ground in this anticipated place, joined by people you love, and you begin to take in all the sights and beauty of it.
That’s the experience of David in Psalm 122. The experience of the pilgrim continues. He has been in a place that he should not be for too long (Psalm 120). He has anticipated the journey and the difficulties that await him, resting in God’s presence and protection to guide him along the way (Psalm 121). He thinks back on the call to go home to Jerusalem and worship with the nation. Now, in Psalm 122, he arrives. His feet are standing within the gates.
The experience that David describes has practical application for our lives and our corporate worship. I pray that you will join us this weekend as we continue to join the pilgrim on his journey home.
    In Christ,
    Pastor Chad

  • Where Does Your Help Come From? | Psalm 121
    June 7th, 2026
    Pastor Chad McDonald
Life has been described as a beautiful cruise on a sea of icebergs. Life can become dangerous a very scary. In Psalm 121 the pilgrim has made the decision to go home. He has dwelt too long in Meschech (Psalm 120). He now leaves and as he begins the journey and sees the danger of the mountains ahead, he wonders, “Where will my help come from?” The answer is almost too good to be true. The God of all creation, the One who made the heavens and earth, loves him, cares for him, and will not only watch over him in the present journey but will also watch over him forever.
I pray you will join us with weekend. Psalm 121 is my favorite psalm. Next week it might become Psalm 122, but today it is definitely Psalm 121! I believe that through this passage, God has a word for us all. Weekend worship is a Friday decision. Make plans today to worship with us. I know that all our weekends can quickly become full, but I don’t believe you will regret taking the time to join God’s people as we gather around the Word to worship Him and hear His voice.
    In Christ,
    Pastor Chad

  • Who is your neighbor? | Luke 10
    May 31st, 2026
    Pastor Chad McDonald
This weekend is Compassion Sunday and as we turn our attention to God’s Word, we will look at the greatest compassion story ever told. The story of the Good Samaritan is one of the most well-known Bible stories. Where there is the light of Christianity, there is a knowledge of the Good Samaritan.
Sadly, the idea of what a Good Samaritan is, the main point of the passage, is often lost to us. I pray that you will plan to join us this weekend as we study Luke 10 and dive deep on the question, “Who is my neighbor?” You will also have the chance to hear from a special guest and learn more about one of our primary missions partnerships. Make plans today to join us this weekend.
    In Christ,
    Pastor Chad

  • Homesick for Heaven | Psalm 120
    May 24th, 2026
    Pastor chad McDonald
This week, we begin an overview of the Psalms of Ascent, beginning with Psalm 120. Three times each year the people of Israel would ascend to Jerusalem to worship. The ascent was not only geographical but also spiritual. It was a “going home” for the nation.
These psalms were sung as the people made their way up to Jerusalem, and this first psalm was a song that demonstrated their longing to return to Zion. In this psalm, we will see that the psalmist is homesick. He has spent too much time in the world, and he wants to go home. You have probably been there, too. There have been times when you have probably been homesick, geographically or spiritually.
I pray you will join us this weekend as we begin our ascent with the psalmist, and as we turn our attention to our heavenly home.
    In Christ,
    Pastor Chad

  • He’s Worthy of It All | Psalm 95
    May 17th, 2026
    Pastor Chad McDonald
I was recently watching a show where a man was hired to clean out homes that are overcrowded. As he was cleaning out the home, he looked for anything that might have value. In this episode, they found photos of Magic Johnson playing basketball when he was in high school. The owner of the home had taken the photos but thought nothing of their value and had stored them under his bed in an old shoe box. The photos were then examined by an expert who determined that they were worth thousands. The homeowner was astounded and realized that he probably should have taken better care of them. He was not living in light of their value.
Many people treat God like that homeowner treated those pictures. They acknowledge God. They believe He exists, but they are completely unaffected by His value. They believe in God, but they don’t worship Him. They have never recognized His true value and His true worth. True worship is ascribing to God His ultimate worth and living in accordance with it in such a way that your life is transformed.
I pray that you will join us this weekend as we look to Psalm 95 and discover true worship. Remember, weekend worship is a Friday decision.
For those of you who like a heads up about which psalm we will be studying next…Psalm 120, 121, 122, 127, 130, and finally 139. Read ahead and prepare your heart for worship. See you this weekend!
    In Christ,
    Pastor Chad
