We tipped down to the Talbot Hotel in Carlow for what initially was meant to be a brief chat over a coffee with Leo McGough in the fantastic new An Bhearú Bar & Bistro.

It turned out to be a podcast for the ages.

We of course did get to the Carlow Hurling Semi Final's eventually, but what transpired both before and after was just pure magic.

Leo is an artist who paints pictures with words like no other.
