In addition to his role at 221B Tactical, Madhavan is also the host of the podcast “Tactical Ambitions” and is recognized as an expert in body armor and tactical gear manufacturing. His mission is to help people become more capable assets and less of a liability to themselves and those around them through his designs and exclusive tactical training. His philosophy is to consistently under-promise and over-deliver.

Before founding 221B Tactical, Madhavan served as a police officer for 13 years. His experiences in law enforcement led him to invent The Maxx-Dri Vest for body armor ventilation. This invention aimed to keep police officers more comfortable, focused, and safer while on the job. Today, hundreds of thousands of Police Officers, First Responders, and Military personnel are wearing a Maxx-Dri Vest every day.
