Ever since the first EP “Attic Edits” was released in 2012. The duo Moiety & Manik have been experimenting with a lot of different music projects and sounds. Even though the two long time friends have developed a more distinct and different style in their solo work, each time when they found time to jam together in the studio their energy was special and brought an interesting fusion. This resulted in their second EP “Voodoo Hoodoo” which was released on Rugged Society in 2021. While the first EP was clearly based on creative editing of lost and forgotten gems from the past (which got a lot of attention because of the track “You’re Gone” that seemed to blow up overnight), Voodoo Hoodoo was an EP that took a turn to electronic and tribal music with a unique take on it. Finally after 3 years the 3rd EP “YOU” is ready to be shared with the world. Again this is another turn in music style and as playful and creative as always, but now inspired by soul, hip hop and the electronic music they love. Enjoy!

She is launching a trilogy of club focused remix EPs in collaboration with some of the best producers in the scene creating a unique crossover sound between her lush vocals and futuristic chicago footwork productions.

Fran Zaragoza has been in the music game for over a decade. Operating under the alias frankydrama, the spanish producer delves into electronic vibes from across the pond, navigating through leftfield patterns but always with the mission to make the dance floor quake.

For ODD002, frankydrama showcases his eclectic talents with a 5 tracker spanning techno, house, breaks, electro and all that sweet stuff in between.

Thelema Recordings is thrilled to announce the release of "Replicants EP", the latest project from the talented DJ and producer Joaqui, hailing from Extremadura, Spain. This EP is set to make waves in the electronic music scene with its exclusive colored vinyl release. Joaqui, who has music running through his veins as the son of a professional drummer, has been an influential figure in the electronic music world since 2002. His journey has seen him share the stage with both national and international heavyweights like Dj Lord (Public Enemy), Fátima Hajji, Takaaki Itoh, and Technasia, among many others. With performances at prestigious festivals like WOMAD and residencies at iconic venues across Spain, Venezuela, and the UK, Joaqui's experience is vast and varied.

The "Replicants EP" takes inspiration from the futuristic themes of "Blade Runner," with each track echoing the film's cinematic tension and atmospheric depth. Opening with "Roy Batty Cries Tears in Rain," the EP captures the emotional intensity of the film's iconic scene, driven by haunting melodies and a powerful techno rhythm. "Rachael Has to Escape" follows with an urgent and pulsating beat, reflecting the desperation of the character.

Side B introduces "Tyrell Corporation," a darker, more industrial soundscape that perfectly captures the ominous aura of the film's central corporation. The EP closes with "November 2019," a nod to the movie's setting, blending nostalgic elements with Joaqui's signature electro-techno fusion.

Joaqui's expertise as a sound engineer, coupled with his certification in Ableton Live and an extensive discography on labels like Plexic Records, FenixFire, Dark Distorted Signal and Mona Records, shines through in every detail of this EP.
