Danny Goliger has been steadily rising as one of the forefront bass & techno producers in L.A. for several years with releases on staple labels such as Dirtybird, Scuffed Recs, 3024 & Magic City alongside his residency on the renowned Dublab Radio. We are super excited to welcome him to the Faux Poly family with his stunning EP 'Say I Do.'

In Danny's own words: "Inspiration was pretty wide ranging on this EP. From UK funky, to dembow, to dubstep, post-dubstep, and garage. I've incorporated elements of these grooves and aesthetics into modern bassy club tracks."

The EP blends together two 4x4 rollers with "Say I Do" and "Weightless," alongside halftime bass led dubstep tracks "Gimme That" and "Pearls." All of these ideas were born out of modular hardware jams and delivered with Danny's distinctive ear for detail. The whole EP has already become a firm favourite within the Faux Poly family, and if you've seen any of us play this summer, then chances are you've been lucky enough to hear these on a big system already.

Words from Danny:

"I'm hoping with this record to capture the feeling of club experiences that are dark and moody, while also maintaining an ethereal lightness.Tunes that are bass-y and gritty in tone but not necessarily heavy and aggressive. Something meditative and maybe slightly introspective to keep people locked in."

Dan ChiCharron’s EP “Tourist Trap” captures a quirky and playful electronic vibe, with each track offering its own distinct flavor while maintaining a sense of personality.

Tourist Trap kicks things off as a perfect road trip anthem, with its linear bassline guiding the way. The track carries an acid-influenced edge, delivering unexpected "jump scares" that keep you on your toes, making it both hypnotic and thrilling. It feels like a journey that builds anticipation with every turn.

"No One Care About Your Music" transports you into an oddball, spaghetti-western-esque scene, but without the iconic galloping horses. The distorted lead creates a raw, gritty atmosphere, and the tight, straightforward snare hits add to its punchy, stripped-back intensity. It feels like the intro to something rugged, rebellious, and unexpected.

"Tango Together" is a tongue-in-cheek take on sensuality, almost parodying its own sultriness. The repeating vocal hooks mix with a slinky, seductive bassline, evoking the feeling of a cheesy, low-budget scenario, but intentionally done with a wink and a smile.

The vibe is sexy yet silly.

"Bonne Conduite" plays with the idea of a driving lesson gone wild. The arpeggios create a hypnotic rhythm, while massive, ego-crushing breaks add a surprising weight to the track. It’s as if your driving instructor suddenly pulled off a wild drift mid-lesson, creating a heady, adrenaline-fueled trip filled with twists and turns.

To close the Ep for the first time in the label, hailing from Guatemala, founder of Club Azul Rosa and Club Solemne, also with huge releases on Hard Fist and Belly Dances Services, brings us a very catchy version of “Tango Together”, marking always his Latino sound and his own trippy vocals, perfect to close the Ep.

Passion Synthétique draws its influences from club culture and dark disco as much as from sci-fi cinema and literature. Composed at the end of summer, the track is an invitation to the heart of a deserted nightclub - a game of seduction without safety nets, a metallic oasis, an empty lot in a crumbling world. Meteors Recordings presents its 3rd single, and this is only the beginning.

For their debut release, Goodness have looked to friends, family, and collaborators who have helped define the platform by featuring at the events over the years. The idea behind the compilation is to capture the essence of a Goodness night, casting a wide net out over a range of leftfield dance music sounds that might feature at the parties, from gestural, textural ambient, through figurative IDM and drummy techno and back again.

Label founder, DJ and producer Birds has rallied up a battalion of her favourite music producers to create their own versions of some of the tracks from her debut album 'Home.' It features remixes from Ben Pest, Jerome Hill, Ivna Ji, Hedchef, Acidic Male, Poly Chain and Borusiade.

Flexing from Electro, to Bass, to Drum & Bass, to Techno, to Experimental, this remix extended EP is a release that knows no bounds in terms of genre, just as she likes it.

Ubiquity Records presents Reuben Vaun Smith’s new album ‘Land Of Music’, a vibrant and atmospheric collection of tracks that transport listeners to a tropical soundscape of chilled beats, lush synths, and laid-back vocal musings. Remarkably, Smith recorded the entire album aboard a fishing trawler docked in a marina in Gibraltar, transforming the tight space into a creative sanctuary. With limited space and resources, Smith set up a modest recording rig amidst an array of plants, recording primarily at night to capture the serene, reflective atmosphere that defines ‘Land of Music’. The album’s carefree energy flows from this unique environment, immersing listeners in Smith’s sonic vision of an idyllic island life.

Blending dreamy synthesizer pads, groovy beats, and smooth vocals, the album evokes a relaxing, high-vibe journey from start to finish. Collaborations on the album enhance its eclectic sound, with standout performances from vocalist Lucy Saddler, who lends her ethereal voice to ‘Lost in Space’ and the title track. Additionally, label-mate and guitar virtuoso Chico Mann brings his signature funky guitar licks, infusing the album with fresh energy and dynamic flair.

This full-length album offers listeners an imaginative escape from the everyday, a vibrant sonic retreat that balances experimentalism with a deep sense of relaxation. (UFC08) Intro: Utopia (Original Remix & 2024 Remixes)

In 1997 a CD compilation called Calambre Techno was released in Spain which included a track called Utopia. Its producers were two Spanish brothers who had been making electronic music since 1991 under the name INTRO. The track of the compilation was a remix of the original included in the Ep Intro - @Utopia from 1994. Now UFC is proud to re-issue this techno-trance gem on vinyl as its eighth release accompanied by remixes from current producers of different visions. @UtopiaRemix is a simple but perfect Techno- Trance anthem, Retro-Psychedelic but futuristic, one of those timeless tracks that always sound original despite its 30 years.

About the remixes; The duo The MFA give us their '94 On The Floor Remix', a perfect “hit” to hear at dawn where they perfectly combine IDM, Indie-House and Experimentalism. Spanish producer Promising/Youngster presents 'Electric Shock Remix', a titanic version of the original remix where powerful Electro rhythms collide with Experimental and Futuristic IDM.

In the case of Brassica we left the way free to experiment with the original remix and he gives us his 'Psytalo Remix', a perfect fusion of Techno, Breaks and Psychedelia, originality in its purest form as this producer has accustomed us to in all his productions. To close the Ep, we find 'FutureCosmicalAscension Mix' by R.I.P. Bestia, truly a different version that is difficult to include in a specific style where the main melody is progressively guided towards a state of euphoria.

The Italian producer Go Dugong and the Venezuelan musician Washé met in Caracas in December 2022. Their meeting was a stroke of fate, bringing together two souls driven by a thirst for the unknown, a desire for the ethereal, and an awareness of the transcendental.

Both artists were creating music inspired by ancient rituals and shamanic chants, but they had never met.

HAPE Collective brought them together, leading to a collaboration in a Caracas studio and a transformative journey into the Amazon Forest, where they challenged each other’s perceptions of nature.

Thus, "MADRE" was born – a tribute to the splendor of nature, conveyed through the universal language of music. The album explores three phases of awakening: dissonance, challenge, and symbiosis, symbolizing the arduous path to achieving unity with nature.

Each phase is marked by contrasts and unique characteristics, inviting us on a journey into the unknown.
