The bond between Sprechen & the Idaho based duo Causeway (Allison Rae & Marshall Watson) has been steadily building over recent time with various message & props to each other as well Allie providing outstanding vocals on The Thief Of Time release last year.
With previous releases on Italians Do It Better (one of our fave labels!) they are now front & centre on Sprechen with their latest single 'Dancing With Shadows', a pulsating piece of hefty synth style action which precedes their forthcoming long player.
The single is a sonic exploration of the duo's expansive musical palate which cites influences from contemporaries such as The Cure & New Order (and even John Hughes movies!) but with a presence that is 100% unique to Causeway. Stripped back instrumentation and stacked synths create a dreamlike soundscape where Allison's vocal becomes the guiding light and provider of additional emotion on this neon soaked journey.
Dancing With Shadows comes across like a main track from the sequel to Drive that we never got (though we live in hope!), cinematic, stunning and a real plentiful taster of what is to come on their album next year.
Remixes take the track into other dysfunctional disco realms with Marshall himself providing a pumped up club mix that cranks everything from the OG up to 11 on the 'chunk-o-meter'. Whilst Sprechen's very own Chris Massey goes in for the acid kill with his 303 tweaking A Love From Outer Space style mid set stomper. Speaking of A Love From Outer Space, Sean Johnston himself gives a deep, moody & more psychedelic affair to his rework that takes things subterranean. Whilst Kiaki takes things deeper into stripped back chug territory which is equal parts hypnotic & hooky with a stomping backdrop...big!

  • PREMIERE : Rapha - U Win I Win (CT Kidobó Remix)
Dalmata Daniel's third LP comes from Rapha, marking his return to the label after contributing to its split and compilation series. Known for bold acid treatments and dark, futuristic tones, Rapha takes his craft to new heights on Midnight Dancer, which also features remixes by CT Kidobó and PRZ.
The album opens with 'I Win U Win', pulling listeners into an adventure of pulsing basslines and cosmic, minimal electro. CT Kidobó’s remix then twists it into a darker, seductive French-inspired club sound. The third track, '...And Them', continues the journey of the opener with mechanical beats and textured soundscapes, while 'Alien Dance' highlights Rapha's signature sharp, distinct style—leaving a strong mark on the deep electro club scene.
On the flip side, 'Midnight Dancer' plunges into a hypnotic realm of haunting echoes and distorted rhythms, with heavy basslines reverberating through the darkest corners of the mind. PRZ’s remix of the title track retains the original groove but adds a cleaner, equally impulsive electro edge—perfect for the club. The album’s final tracks, 'Lost Start' and 'Galactico', round off the journey with shimmering electro patterns and eerie, alien soundscapes, leaving an unforgettable impression.
In Midnight Dancer, Rapha showcases his ability to blend industrial grit with cosmic melodies, delivering hard-hitting electro suited for both club play and immersive listening at home or on a night ride. Be warned—DDLP03 is limited to 150 copies, housed in a Studio Jetski-designed jacket with a digital download card and shrink wrap.

Syrinx Music is honoured to welcome Dylan Cote for the 12th EP of its digital series. Dylan Cote’s name gained traction in recent years thanks to his work as a visual artist & designer, as part of the OYÉ collective or on his own, in renowned international events such as MUTEK, Dour Festival or Positive Education. We are delighted to release Antrela, his first EP as a music artist. This release originated as the sonic part of a solo A/V live project of the same name, melting live electronics with 3D visuals portraying a dystopian, cybernetic universe.
The same themes are echoed through the music, which we are presented with in this EP. Combining influences taken from experimental club music, techno & bass music, these six tracks mix intricate drum patterns with psychedelic synths, building tension and an atmosphere that simultaneously seems deep & apocalyptic. Though the music here feels like a symbiotic companion to the visuals it was composed with, the EP also stands on its own, conveying powerful vibes and a cohesive sound world. It is also a great fit for DJ USBs aiming for hallucinated sounds & forward-thinking club music. As such, Antrela is also perfectly in line with Syrinx Music’s ethos, as always located at the many crossroads between the lab & the club.

  • PREMIERE : Billy Bevevino - Lift Me Up
Billy Bevevino - Lift Me Up EP
    BUY LINK: https://go.protonradio.com/r/rl_Hn0WMBQcFw
    Label: Analog Animals (https://soundcloud.com/keystone-music)
    > Billy Bevevino (https://soundcloud.com/bbevevinomusic)
    https://www.instagram.com/billybevevinomusic
Billy Bevevino delivers his anticipated ‘Lift Me Up’ EP, landing on his self-run Analog Animals imprint this November.
These four synth-heavy jams, spanning house, hip-house and UKG, were created across two years in Philadelphia and in South America at the Artesumapaz Artist Residence. Created using analogue gear such as the Roland TR-8S, 404, and Behringer TB-3, Billy crams high, positive energy into dance belters topped with classic breaks and clever samples. This ep and Billy’s overall musical direction has been heavily influenced by early morning shows thrown in Philadelphia by collectives such as Subsurface and Making Time and at South American venues such as Video Club located in Bogota and El Rio Hostel in the jungles of Buritaca.
‘Analog Jam’ is a highly danceable house groove where squelching synths dance through a frenzy of quickfire filter modulation, interacting lovingly with the track’s kick drums. Rave destroyer ‘Chunker’ does what it says on the tin, really – a warm, wedge of break drops into your lap, paired with a wiggly synth and finely chopped vocal. It’s a dancefloor essential, made during an eight-hour bus journey through Colombia, with Billy combining ten different ideas to create a Freankenstein-esque hip house slammer.
The EP’s title track, ‘Lift Me Up’, was inspired by and created after a late night DJ set by modern New York dance legend, AceMo. Billy dives head first into speed garage territory, throwing a funky sample over the top and a naughty bassline in the latter half to make for a unique hit. The final track on the EP, ‘Release Me’, is a collab with D.C.-based artist Renai, founder of the city’s renowned Supper Club party series. An acid-tinged house track, the artists took the vocal sample from a record found at Impressions Records in Philadelphia.
The EP was executively produced, mixed and mastered by Zach Atom who is also a co-founder of Rock The House. The visuals for this project were produced by the multi-hyphenate creative Justin Leggett.
Billy Bevevino is a Philadelphia-raised - Brooklyn-transplant DJ, producer, and co-founder of the Rock The House music collective. His analog-driven productions and energetic performances reflect a deep passion for classic samples and high-energy club culture. With releases on labels like Basementdiscos, Y4 Records, and Fantastic Voyage, he has garnered support from legends like Todd Edwards and contemporary tastemakers such as TSHA and Ky William. After nearly a decade of performing and throwing parties, Billy continues to uplift ravers through both his tracks and his community-driven events.
