For the tenth edition of the Warning 12” series - Secretsundaze, now led by James Priestley, releasing his first work under the moniker as a solo venture and marking a new sonic direction for the project. On WAR1210 he delivers two original cuts residing on the A Side, with remixes on the flip.
The EP opens with ‘Doesn’t This Sun Feel Great’, a rising, percussive track that utilises disparate samples and twisted vocal manipulation for a fast paced, dancefloor orientated roller. Progressive in outlook, organic in nature, the track steadily builds throughout, culminating in a deserving, euphoric release. ‘The Real Sun’ takes the sensibilities of the opening track and leans on its raw, rolling percussive energy, keeping things highly functional and grooving.
The B side commences with Drua’s version of ‘Doesn’t This Sun Feel Great’. Drawing for a sonic palette quickly becoming synonymous with him, the remix twists and turns in a mesh of psychedelic progressive and hard hitting tech house. To wrap up proceedings Giraffi Dog delivers his captivating ‘700 Lakeside remix’ of ‘The Real Sun’, pushing boundaries with an inventive score that transforms the original track's energy.

  • PREMIERE : Toribio - Daylight (ft. Sharin)
Toribio is a warm and gregarious mainstay in New York’s rich club scene. Through his own series of BDA (Bring Dat Ass) parties, his residency at The Lot, and regular appearances on lineups alongside Danny Krivit, Francois K, Love Injection, DJ Seinfeld, Eli Escobar & more, he’s built a loyal following that shares his love for soulful, percussive house music. The jazz-trained multi-instrumentalist has a special treat for his inaugural release with Juliet Records: a collaboration with his actual sister Sharin on vocals. “Daylight” is a warm, uplifting jam whose skippy beats will lift you up and fill you with hope.

  • PREMIERE : Diogo Strausz & Nic Hanson - Tropical Electrical (Art Of Tones Remix)
Diogo Strausz and Nic Hanson released the sun-soaked anthem ‘Tropical Electrical’ a few months back which made beach bars sizzle with a sound that is classic Boogie Angst: Brimming with glistening synths, tropical beats, and funky disco arrangement adorned with layered vocal harmonies.
Diogo Strausz is known for his extraordinary contributions to the world of funk and disco. His impeccable craftsmanship and innovative skills, honed from his youth in Rio de Janeiro, have seen him rise to international acclaim. He has released on Razor-N-Tape, Barefoot Beats, and Greco-Roman. He made the much-celebrated orchestral piece Pausa, has collabed with Brazilian artists like Castello Branco and Alice Caymmi, and Mario Caldato Jr. of The Beastie Boys, and remixed for Brazilian legendary Gal Costa. Nic Hanson is the Phily born singer, producer, and instrumentalist who joins Strausz bringing his signature sound and ability to seamlessly blend soul, funk, salsa, and hip-hop. His collaborations include Moon Boots, Moods, and Kraak & Smaak. Nic Hanson’s quality contribution elevates ‘Tropical Electrical’ to another level.
Here Boogie Angst welcomes Art Of Tones on board. Renowned house, and disco producer Ludovic Llorca, has unleashed a striking remix infused with a fiery disco groove. Radiating with high-energy from the start, intricate guitar riffs lock into a fierce, pulsating bassline. Layers of lush synths sweep across the soundscape, adding depth and warmth, while brass arrangements take centre stage during the chorus. Blazing horns and rich percussive textures, create an opulent, feel-good pop-disco sound that’s impossible to resist. Art Of Tones cleverly shifts the original’s tropical essence into a more vibrant dancefloor direction. The result is a high-octane groove that feels larger than life, brimming with energy and primed to light up dance floors well beyond the summer.

  • PREMIERE : Shli - Xylem
For Feeling Blue’s fifth release comes one of the most hotly-tipped producers out of Ōtautahi, Christchurch - Shli, making their label debut with new 4-track EP ‘Backrooms’.
The EP feels like both an ode to classic, percussive club production with signature and recognisable sample and pattern selections, as well as an exploration of the new wave of underground, weaved with dark, clever, distorted and intricate melodic elements right throughout. The result is the perfect catalyst of current underground and house party “backroom” culture found only in New Zealand.
‘Anemoia’ kicks off laying out the sonic palette for the EP; a powerful 2-step beat, dubby synths intricately affected and interacting effortlessly with it, and a deep, wobbly bass wrapping all elements together. ‘Sepia’ moves to 4-to-the-floor, the kick sometimes broken and syncopated to continue its relentless movement through off-beat synth stabs and flourishes. ‘Xylem’ carries an early Floating Points-esque energy; cleverly stereo-placed percussion fills out a more simple but no-less captivating melody, the toms and bass line almost conversing with each other. The title track ‘Backrooms’ closes the project, seeing Shli flex his production prowess through atmospheric and downtempo hip-hop chops.

  • PREMIERE : Mishouju - Beton Boots (Lucretio Remix)
Hailing from Belarus, and based in Hanoi, Vietnam, producer and DJ Mishouju treats us with a project from overseas, filled with his signature broken electro sounds and deep hypnotizing 4-on-the-floor style that locks you into the dancefloor. “Memphis Electronic Inc.” is an inspired adventure into different sounds and genres like house, breaks, electro, dub & techno that is centered on Mishouju’s favorite hip-hop tunes growing up, mostly Memphis hip-hop.
“Mishy Oi” starts us off with a cheeky reinterpretation of the New York hip hop classic “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” by Ol’ Dirty Bastard, with Mishouju injecting his signature style to a very familiar sample, creating a suspenseful build-up and worthy payoff thus, further enhancing an already ubiquitous song into a banger worthy of a club. Next up, “Beton Boots” is an emotional track that gives us a sentimental feeling of nostalgia, even if you aren’t familiar with the sampled “Cement Shoes” by DJ Spanish Fly, another Memphis hip-hop originator. "They Done, Fxxked Up” is a breaky rendition of Memphis legends Three 6 Mafia’s “Yeah, They Done Fucked Up”, using all kinds of percussion into delivering a hypnotic head nodder. Completing the project is a powerful remix of “Beton Boots” by Italian artist Lucretio. Filled with a filthy acid bassline and a driving kick, this remix is sure to rock your socks off.

  • PREMIERE : 8-Bit Culprit - Flutter
India-based label and collective, Padmini Records are proud to announce their first offering in the form of ‘Yaar–Dost vol. 01’,
a compilation of some of the country’s finest purveyors of dance music.
‘Yaar–dost’ is an age-old phrase that literally translates to ‘friends, buddies’ (or thereabouts). Padmini is built around this rather simple concept — to create a community that is truly welcoming, a consortium of ideas, and a safe space to share knowledge openly.
An undulating journey through the varied landscape of India’s rave scene, the compilation is designed to be heard as an album. Beginning with the meditative musings of Hiranya, the album turns to the broken beat explorations of Oceantied, 8-Bit Culprit and Mutable Mercury, before finally building up to the hypnotic grooves of Angus 12, OX7GEN & Inspector Maal.
‘Yaar–Dost’ is an invitation to move; to see the world with the clarity that only a 4 am dancefloor epiphany can provide.

  • PREMIERE : Memory Play - Consumption (feat. Grove)
For their debut release, Goodness have looked to friends, family, and collaborators who have helped define the platform by featuring at the events over the years. Included in the compilation is the single 'Consumption' by Memory Play featuring Grove, a burst of energy at the peak of the compilation's journey.
The idea behind the compilation is to capture the essence of a Goodness night, casting a wide net out over a range of leftfield dance music sounds that might feature at the parties. Goodness events offer a broad, omnivorous experience of dance music, so too does this release. An aural synopsis of a Goodness show, it moves from gestural, textural ambient, through figurative IDM and drummy techno and back again.
The release will be accompanied by a bespoke collectible USB sculpture designed by Emir Karyo, and was mastered by Beau Thomas at Two Eight Seven Recordings.
    ABOUT GOODNESS
Since their debut show in 2017, Goodness have established themselves as one of the UK’s foremost outlets for experimental-led electronic music experiences. Previously active in Bristol, Manchester, and Oxford as well as London, recent years have seen the party mature in the capital, pushing an expansive and ambitious musical policy across both club and live shows at venues like FOLD, the ICA, Iklectik, and Ormside Projects.
Goodness has consistently demonstrated bold programming, with recent bookings that range from Lanark Artefax and Plaid to Mama Snake, Moritz von Oswald, Aleksi Perälä, and Actress. At a time when caution and predictability pervade the UK electronic music scene, Goodness strives to keep things different, whether through their lineups, venues, production, or overall concepts. Their past ventures include an intimate live show featuring Seefeel and Surgeon’s Girl in the Grade-II listed tunnel shaft of the Brunel Museum in Rotherhithe, as well as the creation of a '90s-style in-club gaming zone to launch Cold Storage’s iconic wipEout video game soundtrack in collaboration with Barcelona-based label Lapsus. They’ve also partnered with the London-based scenographic collective Badweather on a modular installation called Pipeline, constructed from salvaged materials, light, and smoke.

The Anthrobotics EP presents a series of sonic experiments in the breaks, electro and techno continuum, inspired by 90s video game nostalgia, sci-fi soundtracks, and the evolving sound of the UK dancefloor.
The release also marks a welcome Erbium label debut for Jordan Harding and Kulv Ghatora aka Joku — a project aimed at bridging the gap between their individual artistic styles, combining bright, euphoric melodies and soundscapes with dark, gritty basslines and percussion.
But that's not all: Taipan Trax founder and mainstay producer Phasmid, alongside prog-trance newcomer Sattam, round things off with two mind-bending remixes.
