London - Marrakech multi-instrumentalists duo with uplifting afro house meets the Chicago loft house vibe. An electrifying and virtuosic performance.

Merhba means welcome in Arabic and it's a traditional Moroccan Gnawa song that we tried to revisit with an afro house touch combined with a lofty chicago house vibe. Think Ron Trent/Joe Claussell influences.

Beatkozina is an electronic and world music duo based between London and Marrakech made up of Mehdi Naami (DJ, musician, and producer) and Gregory Jouandon (jazz drummer, pianist, composer, and producer).

Both multi-instrumentalists, they share a strong passion for electronic music as well as world music.

Beatkozina is the fruit of this interesting artistic encounter. Their collaboration draws its energy from the Afro matrix as well as a wide range of influences from North African, the Middle East, Indian traditional music, jazz, and Afro-Latin music.

Their sound is tied to researching African rhythmic and pentatonic mutations within new ecosystems including Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States. They perform a connexion between Electro and Afro trances through the identification of Moroccan rhythmic patterns, minimalism, transposition, and confrontation producing a tribal, complex, contemporary sound that carries a subliminal message of universality and identity at the same time.

AGUACULTURA is the latest release from New York City DJ and Producer Matt FX after a whirlwind year which has seen him performing around the world in 25 cities across 14 countries in Asia and the Americas. This three-track EP is his debut on Mexico City’s Boyanza records and the first of many upcoming releases from his catalog.

The first track Atencion Nosotros features intricately woven hand percussion forming a unique shuffle and foundation for it’s bouncy, rubber band bassline and smooth, spectral synthwork. Written in Mexico City with DJ and vocalist JNGLEJ, the track features her vocals as a kind of call to action: attention everyone- for tonight, everything is different.

Track two, An Elephant in St. Tropez, features a low-slung and deconstructed tribal rhythm just begging for a packed and sweaty outdoor floor, with pan flutes and Matt’s signature synth work crescendo-ing to a bassline reveal befitting of the track’s namesake creature. Culminating with a massive and sleazy 303, the track is a cheeky ode to crowd control specialists like Julio Bashmore and Kyodai.

The EP finishes off with it’s namesake ‘Aguacultura’, a first for Matt as he explores a mostly drumless, borderline ambient synth composition. Produced on a bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo, Aguacultura takes us below the surface with a meditative, relaxed dive into friendly waters.

Ralph Rodriguez, aka Ralph Session, is a New York City DJ and producer whose blend of New York and Chicago house style has gained support over the years from the likes of Jimpster, Mr. V, Cinthie, Oliver Dollar, Laurent Garnier and many more.

The EP starts off with Madness… a moody late night burner unveiling this release dedicated to classic house sounds. Deep chords and driving percussion swirl and build into a G-funk breakdown and bubbling synth tones.

JP TOULOUSE produces electronic dance music to make people happy. He has a clear and very specific vision of happiness: Techno and EDM for big rooms and festivals, fast, furious and often with a catchy melody.

After taking first steps in music production on his own he joined the Ick Mach Welle-crew in 2021 and has been producing music with his mentor and producer Alex Découpigny ever since.

For the newly founded label IMW Records he presents 3 tracks with a wide range of styles. MY MOTHER TOLD ME uses an ancient folk melody and lyrics from Iceland and transports them into a modern dance environment. The result is a peak-time hymn for all bigger floors - catchy as f**k.

The title track LOST combines JPs fast-paced techno with modern hip hop with Berlin singer and lyricist Ken Yamamoto’s vocals, inspiring people not to give up, even if you might feel lost at times.

Machine Cult, the Amsterdam-based electronic music platform hosted by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe, returns with the release party for Edition Three at OT301 (Amsterdam) on 29th November.

Machine Cult’s upcoming edition will feature a V.A. compilation with tracks by Garçon Taupe (featuring Hunter Complex), Acidic Male, Loradeniz, Déandrah, and Son of Sesh. At the release party, each artist will perform a DJ set, except Déandrah, who will be creating live visuals throughout the night. Note that while Hunter Complex won’t be playing, Vergaarbak will be stepping in for a special b2b set with Garçon Taupe.

Expect a night of powerful electronic music and immersive visuals, celebrating the cutting edge of underground sounds.

After 15 years of producing club tracks which have enjoyed support from everyone from Gilles Peterson to Disclosure and playing everywhere from Womb in Tokyo to Space and Pikes in Ibiza to fabric in London and Glastonbury, London-based producer and DJ Ben Gomori turns his hand to his first long-form release: ‘Collapsing Time’.

Drawing on sounds ranging from the Balearic grooves celebrated by his Balearic London party and label (alongside Ariane V, Gaucho and Sarahtonin) to the progressive and breakbeat sounds of his youth, ‘80s synth pop and boogie and the peak-time house he is known for, the album features collaborations with the likes of Rui Da Silva—who also mixed and mastered the album—and rising talents like Carly Foxx, Daisybelle, Michelle Nova and Coco Cole. Featuring Gomori’s first songwriting efforts, the mood of the album is a mix of the euphoric and the melancholic, and draws on the theme of our elastic experience and struggles with time and its impact on our relationships. All tracks and lyrics were written and produced by Gomori, with additional guitar parts by Michael Jablonka (Michael Kiwanuka’s guitarist) and flamenco specialist, Glenn Sharp.

The project represents a bold step forward for Gomori, showing his development as an artist with wider intentions and leaning into his love of pop music while retaining his dancefloor foundations.

LSC005, the new Various Artists release from Le Ski Club, features five unique tracks made by producers exclusively from Geneva, each a heartfelt and authentic expression of their own musical universe.

After five tantalizing single releases from their upcoming second album 'Girls Gang’ the trio Dina Summer beckons with ‘Nothing to Hide’ - a serenade and seduction. Quoted by Resident Advisor to be a “brooding slice of nostalgia” the project is a cosmic romance between Greek/German DJ duo Local Suicide and Bavarian producer Kalipo that is set to steal you away to its lair and devour you completely.

‘Nothing to Hide’ is a passionate dance between EBM, synth-pop and dark wave. It sonically emulates the magnetism of lost lovers vibrationally and inescapably drawn to one another - a tremulous lover’s tumble through time and space. The track resonates perfectly with the gothic romanticism found in the cinematic masterpiece “Only Lovers Left Alive" and creates a surreal space where love transcends lifetimes as it weaves through electronic soundscapes. At the heart, the song is a tribute to vulnerability in love and taps into an emotional intensity that is dark, electric and undeniably intimate. Dina’s sultry vocals express this profound connection while blissfully layered synths and guitar reverb enmeshed with technodisco beats induce a sense of urgency and amorous destiny intertwined. Lyrics like "heart open wide, nothing to hide" speak of the raw, exposed nature embraced in true connection while sonically the multi-layered elements capture the delicate balance between surrender and strength. This single promises to leave listeners entranced, ravenous for more as they await the next morsel before the banquet of ‘Girls Gang’.
