The Bible is full of sinners - and Esther is no different. She is a Jew living under a pagan king, not worshipping God, not serving Him. She is in a difficult time in her life...choices were made for her, she made choices...and now she is queen of a pagan land. How does God work in her life...and ours?

The book of Esther is story of a young, orphaned, jewish girl who became Queen of the most powerful nation in it's day. Xerxes the Great was king, and his kingdom was far reaching and very powerful and it was full of sin and pride. Xerxes and Jesus are two very different kings with two very different kingdoms.

We live in a culture that judges ... clothing, habits, friends etc. We make determinations about others because we, at some level, believe we know best. Jesus corrects that view for us in Luke 6.

Don't be offended by God's plan for your life...

Loving your enemies isn't easy...but Christ tells us that it's important for our heart and thiers. He didn't just tell us to love our enemies though - He demonstrated how with His own life.

What do you wish Jesus never said? Why do you wish He never said it? There are many things that Jesus speaks into our lives that are difficult to hear, and sometimes moreso to apply ... but they are for the good of our souls and the Glory of His Name!

God has a large family...and it is both global and local. Are you part of the family of God?

God has entrusted his children with many things....but the most important is the Gospel. How do you invest the Gospel for Kingdom gain?

Our God is a generous God. Jesus left the riches of Heavens and became poor for us - so that in Him we might be rich (spiritually). Beyond that He entrusts you with finances, and possessions. Do you worship your money as God? Or worship God with your money? Tithing, giving, and generousity are matters of devotion and worship.

Stewardship is leveraging your earthly resources for Kingdom gain. 1 Peter 4 tells us that God gives gifts to all believers so that they can build the Kingdom. How are you using your gifts to bring Glory to God?
