Ministry opportunities do not always happen at convenient times - and we do not always have the resources to meet the demands - but that (according to Jesus) is no excuse.

What does it mean for us that Jesus spent 40 days with the Devil?

Jesus lead a very intentional life...with one purpose: to walk to the cross, and willingly die for our sins. Along the way to the cross He intentionally healed, fed, taught and loved. He calls us to pick up our cross and follow with the same intentionality that He demonstrated.

A celebration of God's work in our lives.

A healthy believer shares Jesus at all times. Likewise a healthy church should be growing and mulitplying as well. What does that look like? How does a church handle the growth...a church must go small to grow big. (Slides from the message are available to download below. See link for "Mulitply".)

We as a church must be ready and willing to offer the best of what we have - Jesus. There will be times we might not have money, or food, or clothing to offer...but we have somethiing greater to give. Lets give boldly and freely that which was given to us!

Jesus didn't just promise us the Holy Spirit - He also said that the Holy Spirit would enable us to be witnesses of His Glory. Witnessing is being able to tell your story: who you were before Christ, how you met Christ, and your life since Christ. Tell it humbly, and boldly - and leave the results to God.

The church is empowered by the Holy Spirit - from the day of Pentecost forward. Do you live in the power of the Spirit, or under your own power? One will bring fruit, the other death.
