Learning the Word of God gives us light to see what’s ahead. “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). Applying the Word of God allows us to be a light for others. “For those who have insight will shine brightly” (Daniel 12:3). “Where there is no revelation (the ability to see from divine insight given by God) the people will cast off restraint” (Proverbs 29:18).
