We discuss spicy books, mermaid anatomy, filtering fanfics, the infamous coming of age book for girls (you know which one), and reading for "education". We know a LOT, but there's always room for growth.

Today's episode is a wild one. We start off discussing our current favorites. Caitlin tries to convert her friends into Swifties and Bridgerton (season 2) fans. Peyton and Reba commentate on the Quiet on Set documentary. We're just yappers yapping. We're also HORRIBLE liars. We go on to to take a couple of character quizzes and other personality tests. Basically, we were built this way by the stars, and there's no changing who we are.

Today, we are discussing ch. 37-38 of Fourth Wing a.k.a. the FINAL EPISODE. Violet gets poisoned, and all she can think about is how HOT Xaden is; Xaden's girl is a GENIUS; we get a big reveal (no spoilers; just don't read the last line until you're ready); and we explore our mental palaces and wonderlands. We also share our initial Iron Flame theories prior to its release (*flashback*) and discuss our hopes and dreams for the rest of the series, including where we feel like improvements should be made.

We are DONE with Fourth Wing! Next week, we will be back with some fun topics to wrap up this season before taking our hiatus in June. Stay tuned!

Grab the tissues, today we're covering Chapter 36 of Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. Violet has mommy issues (obviously); some people need to work on their communication skills (according to Xaden); welcome to plot hole central; remember to trust no one; and man, that tagline was there for a reason (*wipes tears*).

Today we're covering chapters 33-35 of Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. We derail in stories about wasps and being college roommates. Then, we hope in! Violet will be the DEATH of Xaden (that's dramatic); Ridoc's got game (but can't execute); Dain will miss Violet (that's ominous); Xaden has to think about his grandmother a lot; and there's sooo much BETRAYAL.

Violet wants Xaden to tell her something "real"; Basgiath might have corrupt leadership; Xaden's sending mixed signals; there's some severe mental flirting (Edward and Bella WISH); evidently it's love; and Jesinia would definitely read monster smut.

In today's episode, we are discussing Ch. 29 and 30 of Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. Violet reels over her first kill, and Xaden tells her to move past it. Violet and Xaden go to the "fair" and ride the Ferris wheel AND the spinning cups (*cough cough* *wink wink*). Violet practices her new abilities, and Tairn offers his aid ("Shall I get the Wing Leader?). We learn the truth about lightning wielders and how they're chosen. And we also discuss publishing fanfiction.

Next week, we will be discussing Ch. 31 & 32. Then, we will be taking a week off before coming back with more Fourth Wing on March. 19!

Violet plays a game of Twenty Questions; the men in this series are like a Katy Perry song; Imogen is literally the only answer in this series; Xaden is a sweetie accommodating his gal; Andarna is coming through; and we aren't 100% sure about the difference between Squad Games and War Games (capture the flag?). Also, we talk about the comparison of trendy Booktok books and fast fashion as well as overconsumption in this day and age.
